It will hurt and it will leave a nasty scar. It was totally my fault and I am accident prone as it is- it gets really hot I can attest to this. Even with hair products like a heat protectant it still leaves a burnt smell to your hair. If it isn’t on the hottest setting it really doesn’t do the trick. I do like that it is adaptable and you can interchange the wands overall it is good.
