This stuff is amazing!!!!
We recently were given this sectional and it was highly faded in many areas. The color was almost gone as you can see in the before pics. I checked out a couple of different brands on Amazon but this one had great reviews and many before and after pics from other users. So for $20 I figured it’s worth a shot. This stuff goes on super easy, and the color match is perfect. I used medium brown to restore our couch. I used the small rag they provide in the package and applied small amounts at a time in a circular motion. I found that was the best result for smooth finish. It dries super fast and I was able to reapply to get to the desired color match. I can’t say enough about this product! It’s really as good as the reviews say. Looks Like we have a brand new couch.

I am definitely impressed!
I wish I had taken "before" and "after" photos of my classic 1970s leather wingback chairs. Over the years, the finish has needed more proper care. The discoloration was pronounced. I cleaned the leather with the appropriate leather cleaner, and they looked worse. I conditioned the leather, and while it became more pliable, it still looked terrible. I almost put these expensive chairs on the curb. I even took one to a shop that specializes in this sort of repair, and I was told my only option was to redo the entire chair at $4,000 each. I've had several other sources say that this couldn't be repaired at all. And then I found COCONIX Leather Recoloring Balm, Middle Brown! My chairs practically look new! You can see a few spots if you look, but a friend of mine had stopped by and swore I had the chair leather replaced! It's been about a month now, and there has been no need to apply additional balm. I've even used leather conditioners for older furniture, and the color stays while the conditioner slowly softens the leather back to new. I'm so impressed with this product that I'm recommending this balm to anyone with anything made of or covered with leather. A coworker bought some light-colored balm for his BMW that suffered similar neglect and was excited to show off his new-looking leather seats. He picked up this car at a cheap price because of the condition of the seats. Outside of that, the car looks new. Now, it truly looks new inside and out. A used BMW that should have sold for about $15k, he bought for $4k due to the seats. Now he can make $11k today if he wants to, but he loves the car, all thanks to COCONIX!!

Not good
Thought this was a decent product at first. Applied as minimal instructions directed on vinyl "leather look" bar stools the cat had damaged. Seemed to cover scratches well. Blended well with existing brown color. I buffed as instructed. But, this morning, the vinyl is tacky to touch, and as I wiped it with a paper towel, brown dye transferred. Repeated, more color transfer. Repeated, same thing. So, anyone who sits on my bar stools now in light colored pants is going to have a brown butt. Not cool at all. Tossed the product. Will have to have seats recovered.

Messy!!!
The color was good, and the coverage was good. The amount in the container would cover a lot of area. It leaves a duller finish than I had hoped, but not too bad. I was expecting more of a paste, but it is a soupy gel and it was hard to control. I had gel all over me and my clothes because I was not expecting that consistency. I would not buy again.

Amazing Restorative Powers!
I endeavored to restore a leather jacket that my wife bought for me as a gift over 30 years ago. The jacket's brown leather had weathered to a dull gray in many places -- the original leather dye had been worn off over the years. I used the Coconix balm as directed and the jacket now looks absolutely amazing! Just like new. The process is very simple and the balm is very easy to spread. 5 star rating, overall! (I gave the water resistance 3 stars only because I haven't been in the rain, yet. Awesome product - I highly recommend it! Net-Net: I was able to restore a 30 yr old leather jacket that was a present from my wife. Great product! Easy to use, beautiful finish!

Good Product and Great Service
I have used various leather renewing products in the past for various applications. I used Coconix balm due to the color options and the balm format vs most dyes. I used this product on faux leather. The product was easy to apply and blended well. It adhered well and was easy to use. Thus far, the product is durable. The kit provided everything I needed for my project. They also offered technical support. For my worn faux leather project, the coverage was less than suggested. However, when I applied on traditional smooth surfaces, I found the coverage was good. I would purchase this product again!

very disappointed
Tried this on a pair of boots before committed to using on a leather sofa. Glad I did. It looked good on the boots until I wore them. Coating flaked off where the boots crease. Don't confuse this product for any sort of dye.

I bought this product to recolor my leather armchairs. I chose it because it was designed for leather. It stated that it would do two chairs. I put it on one chair and it did not cover the whole chair. The chair ended up streaky, dull and parts did not dry and remained sticky. It was a disaster. Not only did I pay nearly $60 but ended up with a terrible result. The chair is ruined. My advice is stay away from this product. Awful awful awful!!!
