Men's Watch SSB379P1

Purchased as a gift and it was well worth the money. The recipient absolutely loves it — excellent watch.

An incredible watch and amazing value for money. I bought this watch a couple weeks ago and was amazed. It looks so much better in real life. This is a quartz watch but the chronograph movement ticks just like an automatic allowing you to roughly measure up to a quarter of a second. The 12 hour chronograph is perfect for measuring long periods of time and unlike a lot of watches which slowly wind back around wasting power this watch snaps right back and it's ready to go again. I bought this watch a couple of weeks ago and its barely gone out of time at all. The size, width and weight are perfect and it's very comfortable to wear. It doubles as a dress and rugged watch perfect for hiking and going to a restaurant. Comes in a great box too which is very satisfying to open and close. The only downside is the lack of illumination, but the beautifully silver polished time markers make up for that. I've never felt compelled to write a review about any product I bought before but this watch deserves one, a great buy for someone who wants a practical and great looking watch

This beautiful watch was a Christmas present for Our little 15 year old boy. It was a fantastic surprise. He says that everytime He checks the time He enjoys seeing on his hand. He loves it. His verdict : Its Proper Smart Dad ! 😘😊

Very nice looking watch. Keeps very good time which I have measured against a radio signal clock. Smooth operation of the stop watch function. One niggle is that the minute and hour hands are somewhat innocuous. They could have been designed to stand out more obviously. In particular, the minute hand is easily confused with the second hand for the stop watch which is usually at the 12 o clock position when not in use. One solution is to run the stop watch continously but I don't think the watch is designed to do that and secondly it will run the battery flat quickly. The other nigle is that the wrist band is a bit tinny. Otherwise I would recommend the watch wholeheartedly particularly at the £148 price point which is very reasonable.

This is a lot of watch for the money, it's rated at +/- 15 seconds a month,but I've checked it against three satellite controlled clocks plus my and over a two week period it has not lost or gained at all, not even half a beat, plus if you set the minute hand precisely, it'll hit every batton in sink with the second hand at the 12 o'clock position. I couldn't be more pleased with this watch, and would recommend it to anyone. Quick update, the watch has gained almost, but not quite 1 second since my initial setting a month ago. I'm super impressed, plus it's a looker too.

I love this watch. I've been wanting a Seiko5 for a while and got this on sale. It arrived in a box that was a little worn and I had my doubts, but as i unwrapped it, the beauty shone through. The watch is great. It looks great. It feels great and it works great. It is heavy enough to let you know you're wearing a watch, but light enough so that you don't notice it. The size is also perfect. You can easily wear it with a dress shirt/suit and it pairs perfectly with jeans and a hoodie. It is such a nice and versatile watch. I have a growing collection, but this has quickly become the favorite. I definitely recommend this watch. 10/10!

Horloge is keurig verpakt en geheel volgens specs en verwachting, ook tijdig verzonden door WatchNation. Maar de bezorging was uitbesteed aan UPS en die maakte er een bende van. Veel moeten mailen en bellen voordat het horloge na bijna3 weken in mijn bezit was.

Ich besitze mehrere Seiko Modelle, auch deutlich teurere Ausführungen. Das erwähne ich weil sich diese Uhr vor einigen hochpreisigen Seiko Chronograph Modellen nicht verstecken muss. Ganz im Gegenteil. Hier hat Seiko vieles Richtig gemacht. Ich besitze auch das Vorgänger Modell SNDC81P1, und alle Schwächen des Vorgängers wurden hier ausgemerzt. Der Sekundenstop läuft tadellos, und sitzt exakt auf der 60. Die Seiko trägt sich sehr angenehm, die Größe ist mit 41,5mm optimal. Bei kräftigen Männerarmen wirkt die Uhr nicht zu klein, auch schmale Handgelenke vertragen diese Größe. Das Armband aus mattierten Edelstahl sollte von der Länge bei den meisten ausreichen, bei mir war es genau passend. Wer sehr kräftige Handgelenke hat könnte jedoch Probleme bekommen. (Armumfang max. 21,0 cm). Das Band selbst trägt sich sehr angenehm- es ist nicht das hochwertigste, aber auch weit weg von günstig oder billig. Kein Klappern! Wem zB. die Seiko 5 Modelle einfach zu wuchtig oder zu präsent sind, der erhält hier eine dezentere Alternative. Jedoch läuft hier nicht ein Automatik Werk von Seiko, sondern ein Quarzwerk. Dies aber leise und sehr genau. Die Datumsangabe zwischen 4 und 5 Uhr lässt sich überraschend gut ablesen. Und wer die 'schleichende Sekunde' einer Automatik Uhr vermisst, der sei im Prinzip auch beruhigt da es nur eine 'kleine' Sekunde ist. Das Material ist komplett Edelstahl, der Gehäuseboden ist verschraubt, und das Uhren Glas Seiko's typisches Hardlex-Glas, kurz gehärtetes Mineralglas. Der Bandanschlag liegt bei 22 mm, und das Armband verjüngt sich bis zur Sicherheitsfaltschließe (mit Logo) auf 18 mm. Die Uhr wiegt 137g und hat eine Höhe von 11,5 mm. Wasserdichtigkeitszertifikat 20.00 bar. Kommen wir zum eigentlich einzigsten Negativen Punkt, der mir gerade bei Seiko völlig unverständlich erscheint. Die Uhr besitzt keinerlei Leuchtmasse. Alle Ziffern sind silbern. Gerade Seiko, die für ihre starke Leuchtmasse bekannt sind, haben aus mir unerklärlichen Gründen diesem Modell keinerlei Leuchtmasse spendiert. Sehr, sehr Schade! Wer damit jedoch gut Leben kann, der bekommt hier einen hervorragenden und zuverlässigen Chronographen mit Tachymeter Skala, kleiner Sekunde, Stoppfunktion (1/5 Sekundenschritten bis zu 12 Stunden), verschraubten Gehäuseboden, geriffelte Krone und japanischen Seiko Quarzwerk (Kal. 8T67) zu einem mehr als fairen Preis. Trotz der fehlenden Leuchtmasse auf den Ziffern, ist die Uhr im Preis Leistungsverhältnis unschlagbar und verdient ein volle Empfehlung und 5 Sterne. Danke Seiko!

Si on suit les instructions du livret de garantie, on peut avoir du mal à trouver le manuel ! Une recherche "Seiko 8T67" permet cependant de le trouver et le télécharger (FR et/ou EN). Il se pourrait que la référence SSB377P1 soit erronée et que la bonne (reportée sur la facture) soit SSB379P1. Sur le produit : Belle montre (version Couleur: "Silber & Schwarz") relativement sobre dans cette version 'noir et argent'. (Attention toutefois au diamètre relativement important : ~40mm qui ne convient pas à tous) Les boutons poussoirs (chrono, …) sont un peu durs - ceci (sans doute) afin d'éviter une manipulation accidentelle. La position de la date est un peu décalée (entre les positions 4 et 5h). Le réglage de la date nécessite une attention particulière pour rester au cran 1 du bouton central (le cran 2 réglant l'heure) - Du fait d'un cadran de 12h…, il faut faire le réglage le matin pour éviter un décalage à mi-journée. La grande aiguille des secondes étant dévolue au chrono, les secondes en cours sont reportées dans le petit cadran inférieur. Le réglage du bracelet nécessite de disposer d'une "aiguille d'éjection" des goupilles de jonction pour enlever les maillons superflus. Il existe des kits d'intervention complets (comme ASIN B0CT39L4VV) qui vous facilitent ceci (en sus du remplacement de la pile [SEIKO SR936SW], du joint d'étanchéité, …) Pour conclure, un produit à recommander avec un ratio qualité/prix très correct.
