Electro Resophonic Acoustic Electric Guitar Set, Full Size Round Neck Traditional Resonator, Built-in Pre Amplifier, White

I bought a Pyle hum eliminator and out of curiosity looked at what else they made. This thing's one hell of a value. It's a better electric guitar than my electric guitars. The action arrived decent from the factory. It's setup not for slide guitar, but you can still play slide if you want, the action's setup quite low which is nice for most people. I'll be modifying the nut to raise and fine tune the height for slide myself, but this thing's been a dream.

Well its me again making another review. This time its on my new Pyle Electro Resophonic Acoustic Electric Guitar. 1st The boxing seemed to be pretty standard until I opened it then I was impressed. The guitar was its a foam case for protection WOW! I've never had that before but sweet. As I pulled it from it foam its Sarcophagus it was in its gig bag rapped in foam. Ok this guitar is amazing. Looks beautiful. And after a bit of tuning sounds perfect without the amp. I haven't hooked it up yet so still something to play with. This is my 4th guitar and will offer that Spanish sound Im looking for. It came with a tuner, strap, gig bag and few month free lessons from Pyle. So I'm very happy with this guitar. Saved me a bunch of money and still got the great looks great sound and incredible quality of Pyle. Thank you

The only issues I have with the instrument is that the fit and finish is not what I would like it to be. I did read the reviews on this instrument before I bought it and was not surprised when mine had issues. The issues that I have are, that the bridge is set way too high and therefore the intonation is at least a half step off at the twelfth fret!!! Speaking of frets, they are sharp and need to be filed down so they won’t cut you. Banding between the fretboard and the neck has a little crack in it that is really sharp also and it cut my finger! So I’m going to have to take it to a guitar store and pay to have a proper setup done on it. Thankfully I play only slide guitar on it and can wait to repair it It’s a great looking dobro and sounds great with the slide! The onboard effects work great and are easy to use. The tuner that they give you is pretty cheap, but better than nothing.

Im pleased! not perfect but very nice. Needs a little intonation adjustment on low E. For an introduction into resonator guitars with an affordsble cost this is highly recomended! Thumbs up!

Check real good the bridge on the spider was wrong kind of Grover for the strings and one piece instead of of a two piece so you can adjust the bridge and cone the first fret was to high buzzing on strings a chip at the head stock of the trim not what I expected return the next day

I really wanted a resonator, BUT I should have tried the ROGUE (about $250). This one looks good but was VERY poorly put together. Fortunately I am a retired guitar tech so I am able to get it playable. I had to completely replace the bridge saddle (original was totally incorrect size wise and had a terrible RATTLE), I had to bend the cover plate into shape to allow the strings to pass thru, I had to remove and shim the nut so the strings did not rattle on first fret. I STILL need to adjust the neck (next week). The aluminum cone resonator is supposed to be removeable and adjustable, yet this one has the adjusting screw epoxied into place (!) so you cannot adjust it, even tho there is an adjustment hole/adjustment screw?!?! I also tossed the terrible original strings and replaced them with Daddario mediums. Pass unless you want to do a MESS of set/repair.

My husband wanted to start playing the guitar again after not for probably 30+ years. I did alot of research, knowing nothing about them. This guitar is amazing. A friend has played for years and fell in love with it

Arrived with a bent, damaged bridge that was unplayable. Returned imediately. I really liked the solid feel, quality and look of the guitar for the price. I ordered another that hopefully will arrived undamaged. **Update: The second guitar arrived with warped neck and other defects that indicate this was a previous return. Have reordered another that is not on sale and sold/shipped by Amazon. The first two were "on sale" by third party and shipped by Amazon. Hoping this makes a difference because I still think this could be a good guitar ( I own 5 guitars and have been playing since 1969) ***Update: The third guitar sold/shipped by Amazon is great as expected. Solid, good action and good sound. Would recommend if sold/shipped by Amazon but be wary of any any third party sales of this guitar. First two refunds were easy so no complaints.

I have been looking for a keenly priced electro-acoustic resonator guitar for more than a decade and finally found the Pyle Resophonic. Even better, this superb guitar was on offer as an Amazon Renewed item at a discounted price of £130. Unboxing, the guitar came in a heavy cardboard outer with a full sized moulded polystyrene inner. All the mentioned accessories were included and I have to say, I could not tell that it was "renewed", the condition was so immaculate. There was no fret sprouting on the easy to play neck, the action was good enough to play with a slide as well as just fretting it, intonation was perfect. Using the included tuner, I found that it was almost perfectly tuned to an "Open D", my tuning of choice, with a minor adjustment needed on the third string. Plugging it into my RockJam mini amplifier, the pickup sounded great and the built in tone and volume controls worked perfectly. A real bargain and a wonderful find after such a long search.

Excellent quality and finish. The one I got was almost perfect with the hand rest bent that was easily repaired. I build guitars and you can’t find anything of this quality for much more money. $220 plus tax. Plugged into an amp it sounds fantastic. Setup was perfect for playing with a slide on the little finger. String height and intonation was perfect.
