First time doing something like this, and I’m very satisfied. This is a durable and beautiful piece. Easy to tune once placed and screwed on the side of the head of the guitar. Very simple to assemble and attach. I will say there was a slight miscalculation on my part, but I made a new hole to be screwed in, and it all worked in the end. Sounds great as well, worth every penny.

Buttah! These are the smoothest pegs I’ve ever had. So glad I bit the bullet and did this repair myself to revitalize my favorite classical guitar that the lowest string tuning knob was slightly bent so I got this to replace the whole tuning leg system. So glad I did! Infinitely better on all accounts of the original pegs that were on what is already a very fine highly quality hand crafted instrument. I’ve done many modifications to it and this is one I’m so glad now I’ve done. Incredibly smooth action turning these even on the heaviest strings. It also looks beautiful with the rosewood fretboard the black and gold the perfect stylistic choice and a unique look. They have also a nice grip feel to each peg and feels really high quality to the touch and functions like a dream. These are ever so slightly longer then the standard peg so I think perhaps there is just a bit more leverage than standard which might be why these are so smooth and easy to turn. What a pleasure! It makes switching in and out from alternative tunings a breeze! (Why my old ones broke in the first place.) These are elegant and the increased ease of function makes me question what took me so long. Im glad I went with these since these elevated from the standard. These look well made and feel well made only time will tell.

The post are bigger than normal

I purchased for my older Picado 49 classical, and it was a direct fit. No plugging and redrilling needed. I even used the original screws to facilitate the process. These are much smoother, and I personally prefer the aesthetic of the black buttons and rollers. Obviously a pretty inexpensive import, but doesn't feel "cheap."

I bought a Ibanez classical nylon string guitar on Marketplace for $80, but it needed some love. These timers were a direct replacement. They have been very reliable. They look nice and they hold tune. The quality for the price is very satisfactory.

I've been playing jazz on a classical guitar for going-on six decades and these are by far the best machine heads I've ever encountered. Of course, if the guitar is any good - mine are, happily - machine heads don't really need replacement except rarely, but over the course of my lifetime it has happened a handful of times, as also recently: after my restringing one of my guitars its tuners wouldn't allow me to bring some of the strings up to tension and, on top of that, after a snafu calling for a replacement string, I couldn't re-fit the high E through the hole in the tuner head. Enough already! So I got the present tuners, and I cannot believe the contrast: smooth and easy threading, and at full tension, the machines are still turning very easliy. And they hold the tunnig quickly and steadily. These tuning machines are first rate!

Great fit, look and performance. Replaced the exact tuners on my $700 classical.

The pegs are sturdy in their brackets, but the actual gear that is screwed into the machine wiggles against the tuning peg. Three of the four screw holes matched up with my fender, acoustic MC-1. But they are a beautiful color now I wish my strings were gold!

Purchased as replacement for my Yamaha NTX700 nylon. Quality equal to original and look exceeds original. Machine sensitivity right where I like it, each half turn a quarter tone up or down with heavy nylon strings. Arrived on time without any issues. Looks great (black machine heads) and installation was what I expected, three of four hols lined up perfectly.
