Biotin Shampoo and Conditioner Set - Hair Growth Shampoo and Conditioner for Men & Women - Shampoo Conditioner for Dry, Damage & thinning hair with Tea Tree, Manuka Honey & Rosemary 16oz

PSA this is going to be a long review! I will start with my hair type & why I purchased this. I previously had very thick, long, strong, wavy hair & I never used any special hair products. Last year I got diagnosed with an autoimmune disease & in the process of the diagnosis i lost 30 lbs, i only weighed 115 to begin with, so it was a huge stress. My naturopath said it would take about 6 month before it would begin to grow back. I even had no hair growth on my legs or underarms for 6 months. This entire time I took biotin products. Fast forward about 8 months later & my hair was not growing back & continued to fall out in clumps, I had about 1/4 the amount of hair I started with. I did tons of research & found this product (I was not into using the serums that are full of ungodly chemicals on my body because they soak through the scalp & into my body) so I found this product & gave it a go. Very dramatic results happened. Now I'm not sure if this is because I had already been taking biotin for 8 months or because it was just time for my hair to grow back but there has been a huge change. My hair is shiny, thick, strong, & I get compliments about how amazing my hair looks almost every day. I have so many hairs growing back in that I honestly have two different lengths to my hair & it's not from layers. While washing my hair I can literally count 10 hairs that fall out & NONE when I comb my hair afterwards, before I was losing clumps of hair during the shower & when I would comb my hair afterward. I only wash my hair every 4 days or so & when I do it never looks greasy (this is my hair type so I'm not sure about others) & I never have any issues styling it compared to any other products. With this said, I want to mention HOW i use the shampoo because there were alot of reviews stating it didnt work & doesnt lather. It does lather, very well but not when there is alot of build up. Before using this, I used bar shampoo & transitioning to that your hair goes through a detox period where it gets rid of the chemicals & take a few months to do that, I'm not sure if this product is similar to that but I can use it interchangeably with my bar shampoos without my hair having to go through any detox period again, which means it doesnt have the harsh chemicals & nasties that commercial products have because it's not leaving any residue on my hair. So I'm assuming others would need to go through that detox period before they get the full effect of this product. With that being said, I lather & repeat about 2 or 3 times while using this product, my hair is getting much thicker so I shampoo it in sections, I use it very abundantly since I only wash every 4 days or so, & i then lather quite a bit in those sections. After I get all the sections I can use another "normal" amount & shampoo it again as I would any other shampoo & it lathers up with no problem, & this is where I exfoliate my scalp. I also forgot to mention previously I was having a dry scalp that was out of control, I had a thick build up of dry skin on my scalp & after switching it has started to go away & at this point is almost gone altogether. (I never had dandruff before my diagnosis) I have been using this for about 6 weeks & will probably never stop, or at least not until my hair has fully grown back to its previous glory! I have used about 1/2 of my shampoo bottle in that time & I use quite a bit during a washing, & about 2/3 of my conditioner that I also use on my daughters hair. I hope this review helped since I had to piece together a bunch to find what I was looking for :)

i LOVE this shampoo and conditioner combo!! i have been using it for YEARS & have had extremely long hair to my lower back and no hair at all, after i shaved my head last year and it works for all hair lengths, men or women! the shampoo is very cleansing feeling and will leave your hair feeling kind of skidsy, but once you apply the conditioner, its life changing. it’s SOOO SOFT & silky!!!! i have really dry skin and a sensitive scalp and since switching to this, my head does not itch and my hair is so healthy. i can’t attest to it growing your hair or making it thicker, since i have both naturally BUT it is safe to use with hair dye. i really love how pure the formula is, it’s very simple & works really well. i’m always happy with it! i also love the smell and the peppermint feel on my scalp!

I've been using these for well over a year now and my hair LOVES them! I hardly lose any hair when I shampoo/condition and the conditioner is a fantastic detangler for my hair! I've had some issues with receiving bottles that weren't filled all the way and their customer service was amazing. They sent me a replacement bottle right away! You really don't need to use a lot of either one and they will last quite a while. I wash my hair everyday and it's very thin and straight. This combination gives my hair life! I sometimes will only condition my hair and totally skip the shampooing and my hair doesn't feel oily or go limp either. This conditioner is so amazing. I hope their prices don't go up, because it IS a bit spendy, but I use it sparingly now and get much more out of it then I did at the beginning. I'm also glad they don't do any animal testing, because that's also what I look for when I buy beauty products.

I used to love this stuff, and have been using it for years now, but they recently changed their formula or something and now the product smells like something fermented and alcohol, and my young daughter used it, not knowing, and it burned her scalp and made a TON of her hair fall out right after she used it, and her head smelled horrible! I don't trust this company anymore. I ordered a replacement thinking maybe something wasn't right with the one bottle, but because they changed their picture online, and still ship out old bottles, I got charged TWICE for this junk! because they said what I returned was not what the picture was, but I was sent the original packaging. I don't think I will be buying this stuff anymore. Too much hassle and no customer support on this one.
