The product is perfect. It fits perfect and looks OEM. Yes, when you lift up the armrest, you can see the straps, but when it's down you cannot tell an add on piece on the armrest. Some reviewers has mentioned about sliding but I have yet to experience this. I assume, if you put all your weight on it, it might slide but for regular everyday use it is firmly on the armrest with zero movement. The feel of the material is nice as well on your bare arms. Honestly it looks just like my interior with the red stitching. It matches perfectly. The price was surprisingly low for the quality of the item and I got the item in one day.

Purchased in September '23 for my 2018 mk7.5 GTI. Upon initially opening the packaging and feeling the material I was hopeful. Install was quite simple. The fit and finish was bang on. It looks and feels like it's an OEM piece. In fact, with the armrest lowered, you would never know it had a cover installed. The shade of material and stitching both match the plaid interior so nothing stands out. I remodel houses and my interior is subject to a lot of abuse. I got this to protect the OEM console as a sacrificial layer. Been 6 months and it's still as good as it was day one. I'm impressed because I anticipated this being a frequent replacement and was okay with it wearing out quickly because it's pretty cheap compared to replacing the arm rest. No need for all that drama at this point. I recommend this for anyone who has a worn out or faded arm rest or someone who has a real clean interior and intend to protect it. In summary, this is a quality cover that blends beautifully with the plaid interior on my '18 GTI. OEM fitment and proving to be a durable solution. I’ve been using this for a couple years so this is a long term review. The fit is nice once you get the elastic band situated. Over time the vinyl hardened a bit from heat exposure and developed a crack. The padding is thin but hasn’t broken down any that I can tell. Over time, some areas have become shiny due to elbow contact. I bought this to protect the new armrest underneath. I can say it was a good purchase and has held up better than expected .

I purchased mainly to protect the arm rest from being discolored from the zinc sunblock. I'd much rather sacrifice this cover than ruin the OEM part. The fit is pretty good and it matches the time colors. I was hoping for more of a tight wrap around fit, but it's just two elastic bands underneath to hold it in place. The top is fitted well enough vs the generic/universal covers. I expect the elastic to last a few years before it gets loose (hot summers here) and starts to move around too much.

The mini Aussie I babysit loves this console cover! This cover fits my 2025 VW Atlas like a glove. Easy to install, very functional, looks great, and a good value. My friend was so impressed, that she will get one for her jeep (her cat loves to ride on the console).

Looks nice stitching was extremely good. It gets rid of that tear drop look of the stock arm rest and is nicely padded. Good product.

Horrible, no where never fitting the car that it says it’s made for!!! 2 sizes to small. No good to me!!!
