Reading other people's comments on being the wrong size is exactly why I bought it!! The inlet fitting is 7/8 inch(22mm) , fitted straight out of the box, just had to adjust height . Worked a treat. Again, the inlet is 7/8 inch, measure your original inlet pipe to be sure.

Pipe thread does not fit English plumbing. Too big to go through cistern hole and won't fit standard plumbing size.

I fell into the same trap as others did (I realise now, reading their reviews): this is made for US plumbing with a 7/8 inch BSP inlet pipe (I think that's the measurement - it doesn't actually say, and that is the problem). So it's "universal" for American plumbing, but your UK inlet pipe will probably be too narrow to connect to it. Apart from the total lack of compatibility, this seems like a good product. But why is it being sold in the UK?

The fitting is approx 1mm too big for the hole in my loo, which when I got an alternative was proven as the alternative 1/2 size was fitted in minutes. I am now having to return for a refund. Not universal as advertised.

The product installed perfectly until I tried to fit the water supply and the fittings did not fit .The Fluidmaster inlet pipe is a few millimetre too wide so my bog standard half inch flexible hose would not fit

It's not listed on the product page anywhere so tried my luck. OD on this is 25mm vs the 20mm OD used in the UK so won't fit without downsizing.

This is for USA/Canada pipes, it doesn’t fit UK pipes so it was unusable

Perfect fit and fast delivery

Cuento con hidroneumático (30-50 psi) en mi hogar, tuve que cambiar mis antiguas válvulas con flotador porque provocaban vibraciones excesivas en las tuberías, estas vibraciones sólo desaparecían cuando cerraba casi por completo la válvula de control angular, lo cual no era conveniente porque tardaba hasta 15 minutos en llenarse el tanque. Encontré esta válvula después de buscar en foros de plomería, pedí esta versión de 2 válvulas, vienen en una caja de cartón perfectamente resguardadas. La válvula es de plástico (PP y POM) de gran calidad, aunque puede parecer frágil al tacto, es muy resistente una vez instalada. La instalación es bastante sencilla (solo ocupé una llave inglesa y el vídeo de instalación en la descripción de este producto). Adjunté un video de su funcionamiento luego de bajar la palanca completamente, llenó el tanque de mi inodoro (4.5 L) en menos de medio minuto y no hubo golpe de ariete (vibración de tubos). Aclaro lo siguiente, no es tan silenciosa como promociona la página de Fluidmaster (pero sí más silenciosa que una válvula de llenado con flotador Fleximatic, como el de la foto), sin embargo, sí llena el tanque bastante rápido y trabaja excelente con alta presión de agua (hasta 125 psi). El producto no es caro en comparación con lo que ofrece (llenado rápido, eficiente con alta presión de agua, silencioso si lo comparas con válvulas de flotador), además tiene garantía de 7 años. LO RECOMIENDO.
