The book gave a thorough overview of the origins of astrology, horoscopic astrology, and artistic interpretations of the zodiac! Very insightful.

What this book lacks in text, it makes up for in Illustrations. The book itself is very surface level as far as facts go, but very rich in terms of visuals and symbolism. This book would be a good introduction to anyone new to the subject of Astrology, as it doesnt overwhelm the reader with too much information. This is definately more of an Art book than an educational book about astrology, but overall a very pleasent read.

I bought this for someone as a gift. I am not into astronomy, but even so I almost kept it for myself because it is so beautiful.

Exactly what I was looking for! I wanted something different for a coffee table book. The photos do not disappoint. It’s fun to flip through and see the different interpretations of each zodiac sign. Brief summaries of astrology origins and it’s role in history. Like previous reviews mentioned, this is not an explanation of zodiac signs. Most are only one page long with basic facts of common characteristics. This would be a great gift for anyone who enjoys Astrology.

How can Taschen allow to publish a book with a font that is unreadable?! Same for the complete esoterica collection, so sad...Nice picture book but random choices of images, not curated as it should.

I utterly loved the book. The quality of the book, the illustrations, the text etc all of it is wonderful. Everyone in my family was impressed by the quality. These kind of books can be kept for decades and you will still be satisfied with them. More than worth it

Taschen is specialized in ART editions. This is an ART book, with ART WORKS illustrating themes of astrology. It is for ART LOVERS. This book is not ment to learn astrology. Same for the Tarot edition. Love this collection of Esoterica. It is true that the font is too small and the text hard to read without good glasses. Beautifully bound, excellent print, gorgeous colours and very well researched and interesting art works around the themes of astrology. Love it!
