I really like the concept of this product and how strong the mint is. It gives a quick burst of freshness that lasts longer than regular mints. The size is convenient for on the go and perfect for travel. I do wish the flavor was a bit smoother, but overall it does exactly what it promises and has been helpful for dry mouth and keeping breath fresh.

Most parsley seed oil products these days add some kind of mint oil because of the belief that more is better and you wind up burping spearmint or peppermint. The ones with mint seem to be less effective with less actual parsley seed oil. BreathAssure was a popular parsley seed oil product in the mid 1990s. The company was family owned and they grew way too fast and then bottomed out. Boom, no more BreathAssure. THIS product, Botanic Choice Parsley Seed Oil - Breath Gels, are FINALLY the same basic and compact gel that meets my needs. There is sunflower oil as the "carrier oil" and then the correct dose of Parsley seed oil. You cannot imagine the Snoopy happy dance I did when I unpacked them and swallowed a couple! One thing to note: I have found after much use, that I need to take about 3 gels before and after eating something garlicky or heavy with onions. BreathAssure worked better but these are the best substitute I have found so far and believe me, I have tried dozens of other Parsley seed oil gels. Price is affordable and comparable to the brand I used to use. I have been ordering them frequently since this review was posted. May 3rd, 2023: It's been a while since I first began using these. I am still buying them and using them regularly. i have found that with good dental hygiene alone, I still had food-related bad breath. These seem to help better than any other formulation on the market today. As with many things, the price has gone up a little, but cheaper brands just don't work for me. This is the only brand that seems to have the same high quality parsley seed oil with no added ingredients to trick you. I don't need or want added mint oils or extracts in my parsley seed oil gels. I am glad that Botanic Choice keeps things simple. This is an essential part of my daily routine for fresher breath, and it helps me a lot. I would suggest trying one order to see if it helps YOU. Remember, I have found that an appropriate serving is 3 gels before a meal AND after a meal or even between meals, if i have eaten something fairly aromatic. Parsley oil has some good health benefits as well as it's natural deodorizing quality. Some people find it helps with stomach acid & reflux. I don't really have those problems, so i just take it the way i used to take BreathAssure. Parsley seed oil has been traditionally used as an upset stomach remedy and on the skin to prevent acne. It is also purported to have anti-inflammatory properties. I just need it for fresh breath, but if it does have other benefits, well great! I'm happy to have found this product and NOBODY has paid me or bribed me to write this review!

LOVE these easy-to-swallow and long-lasting effects. Highly don't recommend trying to bite into them, tho the taste is well unpleasant to say the least.

These mints work great! They do seem to be a better breath freshener than some other mints we have tried, maybe due to swallowing the center of the mint. They seem to get to the root of the bad breath problem, not just coating your tongue. The flavor was good, too. We used it when we thought we needed it and kept some in the car. They are worth the price and I'm glad to have 3 tins. The tins look cool, too. I did receive a complimentary sample of Zelmin's mints to try and their customer service department was very friendly and helpful.

These mints are ok. I love the convenient and slim packaging; however, the mints themselves don't pack much lasting flavor for me. Once the mint coating wears off, the waxy film that is left is a little off-putting. I swallowed it whole without biting as the instructions suggested, but didn't notice any lasting fresh breath afterwards.

I was expecting more from these. There's a thin coating of mint and then a capsule with herbs. I noticed no difference in my breath. I will say that my breath isn't really that bad to begin with. I don't suffer from halitosis or have any recurring issues. My coffee breath is managed with a stick of gum and my garlic and/or onion breath need 2 sticks of gum (or a tooth brushing). It's possible that this helps people who have challenges that go beyond gum/toothpaste.

Really fun and interesting packaging--I loved opening these! The message inside was really positive! The mints are strong and refreshing and do accomplish the task of fresh and minty breath. These are different and unique in the experience of eating a mint. The coating has a really good flavor and the minty effect is long-lasting compared to other mint options on the market! It melts off quickly in your mouth and leaves a gel capsule underneath. I wasn't too sure initially if I was to just swallow these with some water or chew them. I tried both ways. You can definitely taste the parsley oil in the capsules whether you chew them or not and you need to get some water and swallow them relatively quickly or the taste becomes a bit unpleasant. I tried swallowing them without water and they got kind of stuck in my throat so you need something to drink nearby. I don't recommend chewing them--the aftertaste is not good!
