Great quality for reasonable price
Initially been using the Steelseries Arctis 9x for YEARS. Replacing them constantly.. they always break in the same place (internal screw on the ear cup comes lose inside and cup falls off headpiece) anyway, didn't want to spend 180 dollars on a new headset again, so went out on a limb after doing some reddit reviews. My experience: really comfy, took a little bit to get used to the smaller ear cups (compared to the steelseries) but the audio is such high quality and I love the fact you can connect to your phone for like music or YT as well as listening to game audio, mic is extremely sensitive and picks up every tiny noise including breathing so I have been using the mute function a LOT. My only gripe really.I also purchased the razer kitty ear attachment to go on this and it fits & looks so cute.I would extremely recommend this for anyone wanting high quality headphones for gaming but not wanting to spend a huge amount.I cannot attest to the duration yet though as I've only been using them for around 3 weeks.

Quality for the price (Under $90)
I've owned a lot of headsets over the past decade. Here's my initial review after using it for the past month.Like:1. Easy setup2. Quality surround sound. I'm using it with Dolby Atmos.3. Nice Xbox app allows for appropriate level of customization.4. Mic monitoring works really well.5. You can remove the mic boom if you don't need it.6. Very comfortable for hours of gaming. I have large ears and a larger head.Don't like:1. You need to update the firmware via a computer. App only lets you know if your firmware is up to date.2. Chat/Game balance wheel doesn't make a sound or click to let you know when it's balanced. You need to count the number of click turns and balance manually.Hopefully the build quality give me 3+ years of gaming but only time will tell. My last headset (Microsoft Wireless) mic plastic casing cracked and broke on its own. Definitely brittle cheap plastic was used as I take good care of my accessories.

Fantastic headset, very badly designed app on Xbox.
Long story short, this headset is amazing in every regard, except one thing. When I play Xbox in the same household as another Xbox, the audio on the headset clips in and out. Sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn’t. Completely fine every time if the only Xbox on is the one connected to the headset. The app is a WHOLE other ordeal. (At least, on Xbox. Probably much better on pc.) the app is glitchy and never saves settings. Always have to reconfigure the whole thing If you want to change the audio equalizer or the light color sequence on the headset itself. (The lights aren’t a big deal honestly)BUT. I believe that the quality of the audio output through the monitors and input through the detachable microphone are SO great that it basically redeems the entire thing. Hands down, the best non-noise-cancelling headphones I’ve owned. And they are insanely comfortable. I forget they’re there half the time.So overall, I think it deserves 4 stars.Pros —•Very good sound quality•Very good microphone quality•Materials seem durable and comfortable•Easy setup•Extremely long battery life (had it for a couple months now, I’ve charged it 3 or 4 times.)•USB-C charging capabilities (nice!)•Comes with very nice charging cord•User friendly clicky physical controls (take notes sony)Cons —•Glitchy Xbox app•Cuts in/out inconsistently around other Xbox’s•Doesn’t fold in to be compact, the earcups only twist 90°•Doesn’t come with a case, and isn’t storage-friendly unless it is sitting on a stand or a desk•No noise cancelling

Worst wireless headset
Please read this if you’re on the fence about this headset. It claims it is built for Xbox. With ‘True’ Bluetooth. The connectivity is unbearable. Truly awful. At first, it sounds awful until you download the buggy xbox app to tweak the settings. After that, the biggest issue is crackling noises every minute or so. Apparently this is a known issue for this headset. It crackles constantly like it is losing connection. I called Razer support and they refused to admit it was a known issue. They offered for a replacement if I either 1. Payed for another headset in advance or 2. Go 3 weeks without a headset until they can determine if it is a manufacturing defect. So I gave them the benefit of the doubt. I had Amazon send me a replacement. SAME ISSUE. This new headset sounds like garbage. I forgot to mention, half of the time, the mute button does not work. Found that out the hard way when I’m having a personal conversation with my girlfriend and even though my headset is clearly set to muted, everyone in my party can hear what I’m saying. This headset looks cool, it feels durable, it is comfortable, but for actual usefulness, it is worse than any headset I have ever owned. I even turned off EVERY wifi/Bluetooth device in my house to verify there wasn’t any interference. Still, it could not stay connected. Whether I was in front of the tv or In the next room, both of the headsets don’t like Xbox’s. Check every Reddit forum about these. I wish I read them sooner. Like I said at the beginning, if you’re on the fence about this, do not buy it. For $140, you can get something way better.

Great Headset for Gaming
People can talk are they want about how gaming headsets "aren't worth it." This thing has been running with no issues for years now. Sound is crisp, mic works great and sounds clear to friends. Great headset.

Lightweight and comfortable headphones, bad connectivity
These Razer Kaira Pro’s have a nice looking lightweight design and build, but they fall short when it comes to connectivity. In some games I played with them, there would be a stuttering noise or static noise, and in others it would feel as if it was muffled. I was able to fix the stuttering noise by turning the side tone wheel all the way down on the side. But it still occurred occasionally and I’d have to repeat that process.Another place where this headphone strongly lacks, is when it comes to connectivity to different platforms. If you use Bluetooth to connect to your phone, it will also turn on your Xbox as well!! This is highly frustrating, and unfortunately no way to stop. Same goes for if you connect to PC. The only way to connect to PC without it turning on the Xbox, is to buy a Xbox Windows adapter. The microphone is removable on this product which is great for when you’re not playing multiplayer games so it isn’t in your face. The microphone themselves are pretty good, they filter out outside noise and others can hear you clearly. It has 2 microphones, a built in one and a removable one. The built in one ONLY works for Bluetooth, and the removable only works for Xbox and Windows wireless adapter. I’ve found the Bluetooth mic to be slightly better than the built in mic and clearer as well. It has LED lights on the side on the Razer logos, but I prefer to keep them off to save battery. The battery life on these headphones are good, they aren’t the absolute best, but aren’t the worst either. Overall, if you’re able to find this under $50, then I’d recommend buying it. Otherwise, avoid it.

2 time buying ! Had them for 6 years
Had them for 6 years and they are just now starting to break. I bought them at 150 when they first came out and they were worth every penny so now at less then half even more worth it. Sometimes every couple of months the head set has trouble connecting to the xbox. But resetting the xbox fixes the issue mic was good and very comfortable so im buying another head set! And i was pretty rough with them lost of tossing off my head

Most comfortable headset I have ever tried
If comfort is your main concern then look no further. I have tried multiple headsets from Turtle Beach, Steelseries, Sony gaming headsets and this beats them all easily. Lightweight, large and plush ear cups, long adjustment forks. Usually I have to wear a headset at max and this one I have to put a few clicks in. Unfortunately the sound is a small step down from other headsets I have tried, but using the Razer app and making some EQ adjustments gets it very good. I know a lot of people don’t like the direct connection to Xbox but in this headsets case it works perfect and never loses connection. Crackling audio does creep up from time to time but it only lasts a few seconds. Mic is fine, again not the worst but not the best either. Great headset especially at the $99 price point it’s been at a lot lately.

Great headset!
I needed an headset to be able to listen to rock, metal & EDM; gaming mostly racing games; finally work from headset with mic!I was using a Plantronic wired 1-ear headset for VoIP. This headset is awesome!! The quality is 5* with EQ settings using a separately Wireless Xbox Adapter*.The boom mic is detachable which is cool since I don't need it when gaming or listen to music. The battery life is awesome as I can use it for 8 hours while I work from home in IT support call center. It isolates very well my ears. Mic is awesome!Headset is heavier then the Turtle Beach 600 gen2 that I am returning to keep the Razer. But generally it is a more tough construction, it feels less cheap than the turtle beach.Leds doesn't work with Synapse/Chroma. There is an App Razer Headset Setup in Windows Store when you pair it with the Xbox One wireless adapter to adjust EQ, leds 2-3 functions (breathing, static...).Sound quality is similar, mic is better on the Razer. The main difference is the comfort!Wow after 1 hour the Turtle Beach was squeezing my head, too tight and I have a small head (Cap size 6 3/4 or 7).I wear the Razer for 4 hours straight when I work before taking a break and I often forget to remove them from my head!Another great Razer product.I bought the original Microsoft USB dongle wireless controller adapter for Windows 10 to work with my PC. I didn't tried Bluetooth as I have earbuds also but will do since it could deliver better sound when I'm outside cutting the grass!! :)Razer 10* as usual!!!

Super comfortable.
Painless association to an Xbox. If you're buying it just for the Xbox, do yourself a favor and buy the other version without the Bluetooth functionality.I couldn't find a way to use the Bluetooth without also powering on the Xbox when powering on the headset. My original intent was to use the Bluetooth for my TV, for when only my TV was going to be used.
