HUE Women's Jeans Roll Cuff Crew Sock, Crew Socks for Women

Hue socks have been my favorites for years, in all styles. These fit well, stay put, are not thick, and work nicely with jeans. Hue socks last for a long time, and these are well worth the price.

These are fairly thin but I had my last pair of these for over a decade and still no holes (although finally wearing thin). They are stretchy with a good fit for size 8 feet. Perfect for spring to fall. One big benefit is they can be reversed for a light blue or dark blue color.

I love these socks. I found them first at at local overstock store years ago and was devastated when I wanted more and the store no longer had them. I was beyond excited when I found them on Amazon in so many colors. I have large ankles/calves (despite being a reasonable 5'4"/145 lbs) and these are the only tall socks that are comfortable for me to wear all day. They also don't leave a horrid imprint on my skin at the hem like others with a traditional hem do. I know another reviewer said that they don't work with skinny jeans or leggings and I disagree. I simply fold the top in half so that the roll hits around my ankle, right at the hem of my jeans or leggings. You don't notice them at all when you wear them this way. They are soft, last for a long time and thin enough to work with even snug fitting shoes. I have a wide foot (yes, my limbs are like the turkey legs that they sell at Renaissance Fairs thanks to my hefty German grandparents) and many socks are too thick for me to wear in my shoes. I can't have the sock taking up too much room. These provide good coverage and warmth without being bulky or thick.

In general, I like these socks, however I am not a fan of how the top rolls down. They will do for the price. They are not too tight, they fit right, only complain is the rolling down of the top.

The Brand HUE has always been very good. I have had many pair for quite while. Because I needed more “jeans Sox,” I wanted all lighter blue. I’m just sorry that they don’t offer all light blue in a pack. I wonder who puts the light and dark blue together. Amazon’s delivery was perfect, as always.

I have been buying a collection of the predominately cotton socks to last for a long time because I know that eventually they will go away. The cotton socks have been comfortable, wash well, and fit great (size 8 shoe). I don't get impressions on my ankles from them. But the last few pairs I purchased of the brown concern me. They don't feel the same as the cotton socks I've been ordering. Here on the site that I ordered from, the brown socks have two different material lists; one is cotton, the other is polyester. I won't be buying more until there is a consistent materials list in the sock descriptions. I do not want to buy polyester socks.

Love these Sox! Wish I had them in other colors. They are comfortable, versatile.

I'm not sure if I'm posting a second review - I might have posted just a size review without my comments... This is my second order of these socks - the first was April of 2013. Those socks are holding up very well, and I wear them often and launder them with no special care. I have purchased other brown socks between these two orders, which is part of the reason I'm giving these such a good review - apparently decent quality brown socks are rare. None of the others even come close to these sock in fit, comfort, look, or durability. I have large feet, size 10 women's, and these sock fit me nicely. If your feet are much smaller, they might be too big. They do have a bit of a roll at the top, but it doesn't bother me. When I wear them with a skirt and flat shoes my husband says it makes him thinkof Little House on the Prairie. I guess they do drop down a bit toward my ankle, but that doesn't bother me either. The one thing that they DON"T do is fall down into my shoe - I can't tell you how much I hate it when socks do that.

So glad I could get this American brand over here in the U.K.. I love that they are cotton and fit over another pair of socks for winter and can be used by themselves in summer.

Just ordered my second set of these socks. I have enough socks, but many of them squeeze my legs, so I want more of these. These socks are perfect: they stay up but do not squeeze legs. They are thin, comfortable, and wash well.

Perfect and they don't squeeze your leg.
