A: No, it is made from hare wheat.

**Q: Is this flour also good for baking bread?**
A: I’m sure you could add it to bread flour to create a nice loaf of semolina bread. I don’t think you could use it solely.  This is excellent pasta flour it is very finely ground. Hope this helps.

Just got an outdoor pizza oven and knew I needed either corn meal or semolina to make sure the pizza slides off the peel. I've used corn meal when I was just making pizza in my kitchen oven and thought it was a little too thick. So I tried this, and it worked great. A little goes a long way and my pizzas slide right off the peel! I may not be that good at making fresh dough, or getting the dough into a round shape, but it slides off the peel... Great choice.
