Basic smoke alarm that does exactly what I needed. It was easy to install, the battery setup is simple, and the test button worked like it should. Good inexpensive option for adding another smoke detector around the house.

Great brand of smoke detectors. So far they have worked great, but we haven’t had a fire to know exactly how well they work. Thank goodness. Easy to install. Nice compact size.

Has mounting screws and anchors. Plastic feels a bit flimsy but once it's in place it should be fine. Other models I've bought are definitely much sturdier. Should be easy to change the battery, frame stays on wall and you rotate main part of alarm to install/remove. I am disappointed that the included Great Power battery only lasted 3 days. I've had them in other products and they are OK for months. These may be old stock with old batteries.

Does not work unless it is installed in the mounting ring before you test it.
