I used the GREEN for Joker and it was perfect! The application is easy and it washes right out. The hold works well enough but I end up using hairspray to ensure proper placement. For me, this stuff does transfer. So no running my hand through my hair. I also used the ASH SIVLER/GREY color and it was much different from the green for me. It more toned my hair than turned it silver. I applied less product when I used the silver but I did like the effect. You could tell more from the sideview that it's there. A few of my coworkers noticed the difference. The pic of me (outside) is when my hair was set with the hairspray. Later that day, I went home and loosened it up (inside) and it looks great! Overall, if you are willing to experiment with this product I believe it has alot of potential. Try different drying techniques and application amounts to see what works for you.
