This is an awesome product! We bought it a while ago and are still happy with it! Big enough for a play area when the baby is little but also still a great travel crib when they get older. The assembly is easy once you figured it out lol 😂 I personally like the sturdiness but it comes with a price; definitely much heavier to carry than your average travel crib. Also love that it comes with a mattress cover you can wash 👌 Update 5 (!) years later: still in use, looks brand new, so far two kids have used this extensively and it has traveled far and wide. The extra space is genius bc both of my kids comfortably used this up to when they were 3/4 years old

Pros: Double the size than the standard ones which gives baby room to actually move around and not feel so closed in especially with toys around. Love how there is enough room for baby who's learning how to crawl and practice on tummy while not having to worry where baby is going or getting into their mouths. I love how easy it's to assemble and break down. 1st try may not be as fluid but once you understand the set up it's a breeze. Love the look of it. It's not an eye sore or a color that doesn't match your area. Cons: Does take up a bit more room but not a factor if you have the space and want baby to have a bit more free range. Slightly heavier than the standard version but you need that for the durability. Wish that the cover for the bottom padding was not like felt type. It's nice for baby to have something soft but it does pick up lint so you'll need a lint roller every now and then to make sure baby isn't eating any little pieces that came off toys, hair or just lint floating.

I got this for my little dude who hated traditional hard cribs, he would wake up 5+ times a night from hitting his head on the crib bars, and a normal packnplay was too small for him, we'd find him cramming his face super hard into the mesh. So we ordered this massive play yard and he suddenly started slepping through the night!! Its HUGE. I have spent several sick nights cuddled up with him inside this thing, its so big it fits both of us. But 10 months later one of the sides would suddenly no longer stay up. After contacting Joovy they immeadiatly set out to help me and shipped a brand new replacemrnt to me within a week! They were amaing to email and work with, the company has outstanding customer service, they truly love their customers! I would never by another pack n play for my kiddos. We foster and so have lots of babies through our house. Well worth the price. Cons: Hard to clean, Ive had other pack n plays where the entire mesh and fabric unips off and you can throw it in the wash, this one does not. After a poop smear incident, we had to take it outside and hose it off and let dry for TWO days! So thats a bummer. Its also very heavy and hard to pack around anywhere, but its also sturdy so that makes up for it.

I purchased the Joovy Room^2 over a year ago and I still love it. First and foremost, its big. This sucker can take up a good portion of a room-lucky for me, we have it in a big room. There is tons of room for my son to play in this and it is very comfy for him. He sleeps in it from time to time with no issues. However, It is heavy. Would not good for travel if you needed to carry it a lot but not awful if you had to take it and throw it in a car and pull it into a hotel. It came with a sheet but i shrank it in the was on the first run. Its very easy to put up and down. We've not had any issues. Very sturdy for sure. I would def. recommend.

We love the Joovy Room2! It’s truly like a second room for our 9 month old when we need to get stuff done around the house and can’t have her roaming around. She loves to do any and everything in there and it’s big enough for her to sleep and have toys in there and not be worried about space! It’s also surprisingly easy to put up and break down, just as easy as any other pack n play. I was expecting it to be a little more complicated because of the size difference. The sheet it comes with is top of the line IMO! It’s almost like a velour material, super soft and wipes clean SO easily! Only thing is, I wish the sheets came in different colors. Our daughter has bad reflux and still spits up a lot so a white sheet isn’t ideal for us but like I said it wipes clean very easily and washes well too so it’s not a big deal. I was debating between this and the hiccapop but couldn’t find any info on how thick the padding was on those and didn’t like that fact that it would be directly on the ground because we have hardwood throughout our home. I wanted to make sure to get something that was either super padded or off the direct ground and I’m so glad I chose the Joovy Room2! Worth every penny!

I was concerned with the first Room2 that I received - there were slits in the base material at each of the corners. This was most concerning to me - Amazon was superior in accepting the return of that Room2 and sending me another one. The second had the same issue. This time, however, I reached out to Joovy - those slits are supposed to be there for attaching the mattress! I guess such "new fangled" Pack and Plays were too modern for me (this is for the first set of grandchildren - twins!). Joovy was extremely quick in answering my question - it seems to be a very well constructed play yard - and I love the size for the twins. Now that I understand the *entire* setup, I think this is a great play pen. Now to wait and see how the twins enjoy it!

Love this playpen! It's big enough for our tall baby and practical, while the clean design is beautiful. It is fairly heavy, though after much research we went with it because even though it's portable, in reality the number of times we'll bring it to the grandparents is small and it can always be carried in two parts (heavy mattress in one shot, sides and metal structure in another). Other playpens may be lighter and easier to transport, but the quality of mattress in this one is incredible and makes me feel comfortable about leaving my LO in it to play or nap - some of the others I've seen have really flimsy mats that I wouldn't trust!

This playard is perfect for our tall baby. He can sit, roll, creep, and crawl around without getting stuck. The fitted sheet that comes with it (of which you can buy extras too) is a lovely fuzzy/velvety cotton with a waterproof backing. It washes nicely and can go in the dryer, which is super handy. Some reviews complain of a ridge or bump down the middle - this happens if you do not attach the Velcro tabs of the mattress to the playard base via the slots. The two middle panels of the mattress can overlap by being pulled together due to the tight fitting sheet. The playard packs up easily and takes up the same amount of space as smaller playards when stored. This is exactly what we needed - simple but stylish, and large enough for babe to play but compact in our living room.

Love this💕🙌🏻 Perfect for my girl&boy👶🏼👶🏼 twins they both fit in it and sleep in it, plenty of room easy to set up, way easier than any other playpen and light to carry to Grammies for overnights or to pack n play, orderd the mattress pad that comes w it and its super comfy washed it over twenty or so times prob more and its such good quality no issues at all w this playpen or the mattress or the matress pad Definitely best playpen ever💕🙌🏻 Defiantly worth it didn't take long to come in either Very happy keeping this for life 😍☺️😌

Spacious, comfortable playard. Great for play and for sleeping. Easy to set up and take down. On the heavier side but easy to carry and for the extra space I don’t mind.
