Tough, Reliable, and Built to Last
This 3/8” winch hook and stopper set exceeded my expectations. The forged steel feels incredibly solid, and the matte black finish looks sharp and durable. It’s clearly built for serious recovery work—I feel confident using it for heavy-duty tasks. Installation was quick and easy, and I really appreciated that it came with the Allen wrench included. The safety latch functions smoothly and gives extra peace of mind when under load. The cable stopper is a nice bonus—helps protect the fairlead and keeps everything tight and clean. With a max capacity of over 37,000 lbs, this hook set is no joke. I’ve already used it on my off-road rig during a recovery and it performed flawlessly. Whether you’re into trail riding, towing, or just want a dependable winch upgrade, this kit is a fantastic value. Highly recommended!

I absolutely love this. Color matches my Jeep perfectly. Very strong paint/ coating on it. Very durable. Super easy to install and super easy to use.

Hefty and Looks Good
First know, because Amazon sends out review requests within a day or two of receiving an item, I have not actually used the winch hook. I installed on my CFMOTO CForce 1000 Overland 4-wheeler that has a 3,000lb winch. It installed very easily--I had it done in about two minutes. The stop block is great to keep the hook stable and not allowing the cable to retract too far against rollers. The hook itself is hefty and solid and I expect it to perform well. Choice of colors is nice; I chose red to accent the red graphics on the machine. So far, really impressed.

Nice for the price.
Pt seems strong, the spring latch is sturdier then most I've seen. Not sure how long the paint will last in use. I really bought this because it was blue and a math match the other accents on the Jeep. I'd recommend it.

Good fit and finish, enamel looks like it will chip easy under heavy use but otherwise and excellent product at this price point

Nice basic hook with no gimmicks!
I needed a new winch hook after swapping to synthetic rope because it wouldn't fit over the tube thimble at the end. I came across this one for a good price and it checked all my boxes for what I was looking for. I'm a fan of basic hooks with a latch, they are fast and easy to hook up by anyone while my rock crawler is hanging off a rocky ledge and for that reason I don't like the trendy thimbles that require extra steps and equipment to secure. This hook looked like it would do the job and so far it has worked well. It fits the tube thimble on my winch rope and is about the same size of the hook I removed from the steel cable on my winch. The latch has a strong spring and seems like it should hold up well. The one thing I would recommend doing is cutting off the excess bolt holding the latch on and then peening the end over with a hammer so the nut won't come off as easy. The small bolt stuck out past the nut too much for my liking and was a sharp point that could cut or scratch your hand while handling it.
