Love this as I have to take it for my bones nightly and Solaray is an excellent brand! Good buy good quality supplement.

This product is pretty well-reviewed by several health publications and is one of the more bio-available forms of calcium on the market. It’s also supposed to be gentler on the stomach than calcium carbonate. The one major drawback to this product to me is the size. Each capsule is very large (the largest out of my vitamin routine by far) & the 1000mg dose requires you to take FOUR of the giant capsules. I guess if you really wanted to you could probably empty the capsules out into a smoothie or something but it’s a lot to swallow.

I take this on alternate days to the $$ Algeacal to balance out costs. I actually prefer this because it is a lot easier on my stomach. Please note, if you take this , take it in conjunction with d3 and k2 (mk7/mk4) to get max absorption into bones. very grateful for an affordable option

High calcium content in citrate form and easy to swallow.

I ordered a bigger jar this time and this was a great deal. This type of calcium is absorbed better into the bones than calcium carbonate. But I also use vitamin D3, vitamin K MK7 and Boron to help the absorption even more. And I’m researching other additions, too.

These pills are annoying. I am sure this calcium citrate is a good product, however every single container has busted or leaking capsules and everything inside the container is coated with calcium dust. I hate handling the capsules because I get the dust all over my hands. The dust permeates my pill sorter. I'm on my 3rd or 4th container of these, and the calcium dust is consistent. I will not be ordering these again.

Thought I would only have to take one to equal 1000 mg. Each one was 250 mg. Front of bottle misleading, grrr
