My six and seven year old kids are currently working on one of these each, I ended up purchasing the bear for my six year old. They are being supervised and working slowly but surly to get it completed - although it might take us two weeks!The price does seem a bit steep at first, however your kids will hopefully choose an animal/rainbow that they love, learn a new skill, spend hours working on it and then it gets to hang in their room as a decoration and remind them of the hard work that went into it! This was an interesting kit. It makes a unique woven design. Says for kids but all ages can enjoy this craft. The wooden plaque is the loom itself. It comes with everything you need to make the deer, along with very easy to follow instructions.

This is such a nice kit. The components are quality, and the kit comes in a pretty box. This is very giftable. Love it. Very satisfied!
