String Trimmer, Electric, 14-inch (BESTE620)

I’m really impressed with the BLACK+DECKER BESTE620 string trimmer! For an electric model, it packs a surprising amount of power. It easily handles overgrown grass and weeds around my yard, and the 14-inch cutting swath makes quick work of trimming even larger areas. One of the things I love most is how lightweight and easy to maneuver it is. I can trim my entire yard without feeling sore afterward. The adjustable height and handle make it comfortable to use, and the automatic feed spool means I don’t have to keep stopping to adjust the line — a huge time saver! Another bonus is the 2-in-1 feature: it converts from a trimmer to an edger with a simple twist. Super convenient for keeping sidewalks and garden edges looking neat. Very efficient and lightweight. The adjustable handle makes it easy to control. The button control string length adjusts perfectly for razor cut precision. It is the perfect size for my residential needs, is quiet enough to operate without hearing protection.

Will easily and gently cut grass all day without the hassle of running out of battery in a few hours. The 6.5-amp motor is just right; does not cause much vibration and is light-weight - suitable for women and elderly. Anything of less amperage may not get the job done. You can use a light-duty (14-gauge extension cord) for 100 feet or more. However, this was not designed for cutting weeds or heavy grass (such as rye grass) and the 0.065" line will break - this is easily fixed by rethreading the line back in the housing and takes less than a minute. Instead, if you have lots of thick weeds you will want something with 0.080" line or a circular blade. This does lawn care perfectly; not ditch care.

I am in love with this weed eater. So much research done because I am on my 3rd kind. I wish I had gone with this one in the first place. I just threw the Greenworks trimmer in the garbage after only a couple of times using it because the trash is where it belonged. This Black and Decker is super powerful! It took 2 minutes to put together. I use a 100 ft cord and basically I am mowing my whole 11,000 Sq ft of weeds with this. I love the ease of the string feed and you don't have to bump, just push the button if you want more string. The weight is light as can be and the handle adjusts for me at 5 foot tall and for my husband at 5'10" tall. Being so light weight, I don't get fatigued. The edger works perfectly. Buy one, inexpensive and worth the money.

I have bought this trimmer before and does the job. For the price, you can't beat it.

The purchase was as essy as the assembly. This is a practical utility for your edging needs. I have a 100’ electric cord that gives me ample reach for this trimmerr/edger. The motor is plenty powerful, storage is as easy as you make it and you don’t have to hassle with gasoline and oil, nor lithium batteries that drop power when you are on a roll adding to mention their risk factors. This Black & Decker product is recommendable.

This is a product you don't want to buy. Too much to pay for a product you can't even feed the line to without a major amount of trouble and inconvenience. The automatic feed button did not work from the get go when I received it. Used it very little before it completely stopped working. Won't even turn on. What's worse you can't even talk to anyone about it from the company because they downsized and shut down their customer service department. The recording tells you a website to contact. Good luck with that; you talk to a automated voice. Does everyone know what that's like. They direct you to everything except what you need to report the issue to of a product you bought that is still under warranty and is not performing as represented or not performing at all, for which you should be refunded the purchase price. Perhaps that's thier way of sticking it to their customers, and getting out of a situation that requires responsibility on their part. They've got your money, so why should they make it possible for you to hold them to their warranty? In my opinion this product does not even deserve 1 star in its rating. Should be 0 instead.
