I have both a strength package and a power package and am now even considering a core package or perhaps a second power package so that I can have one more weight option. Unlike kettebells (which I love), sandbags constantly shift weight so one can't quite get in the grove. This is great for improving functional fitness but also means that you use a lighter weight than one would use if doing double kettlebell or barbell work. If you are just starting out with sandbags, I recommend starting with the power package at least for females. I started with a strength package because I figured I could just load it lighter to start but as an average height female, I kept banging my head with the middle part drooping down when I did snatches. Plus, i found it harder to do the explosive work because dimension of the bag matters- it isn't just about the weight. I will also say that the quality of these bags is exceptional. I really haven't had any problem with leakage and I do drop my bags (not heavy slam). The inner bags are easy to fill with sand with strong velcro at the top in two places one near the top and another down several inches. After filling the bag up, you seal the velcro then fold over the top of the liner which then velcros to another velcro strip on the outside. This is pretty well sealed. The power package bag seems a bit stiffer than the strength bag but it may be because it is filled closer to capacity. These bags are clearly built to last.

This bag is so great for so many workouts. I will say if you fill it up with sand, the sand tends to puff out and onto you. No big deal though.

The bag is made of plastic and hurts when it hits my shoulders. It's very uncomfortable, not like nylon bags I've used at the gym. If I wasn't past the 30 day return window I would return this in a heartbeat.

I Didn't understand the size. This is way too small for me. Advertisement not clear on what size to buy.

I am writing this review base solely on 3 days of used. So I am not sure how durable this sandbad might be. The bag looks very good quality, the bags that come inside for you to fill them up are also made of sturdy materials, and you can add sand as you get stronger. My only complaint is that they send a completely different bag as in the one in the picture, also I notice that are missing handles, (It only comes with 4 handles) and that make this bag not as functional for certain types of exercises as I was expecting. I feel that ecommerce is base only on what you see in pictures, so is very important that sellers adhere to the picture they put in their adds.

One of my favorite exercise purchases. I use this for every workout. I have own this for over 2 years and it is still holding strong with only minor wear and tear, which is expecting since I am tossing it around, usually on concrete as well. The handles of held up as well. I have still have zero issues with this product. Well worth the purchase if you are looking for a way to up your exercises.

I have been using this both with my Fitness is Function sandbag dvd and also to add on some moves to other workouts. It's amazing how quickly a few reps using this raises my heart rate. And it's a lot of fun to use too! I think I would have preferred one with more of an army bag material for the exercises where I need to grip the bag and not the handles. But this is a high quality bag with high quality inserts that will likely last forever even with all the abuse.

The Power bag is the middle bag between the Core bag and the larger Stength or Burly bags. This bag is used for exercises that use a medium weight, about 35 lbs. This bag is designed for use with the DVRT system. These bags hav e been refined over many years and are not like other bags that are primarily designed for throwing and shouldering.

As described by seller. This is a good starting size for a sandbag. I filled mine with rice as I haven't been able to work out lately due to surgeries.
