Perfect little turning tool
I purchased this item to use for the finer details of my turning projects. This item is an excellent tool and impressed me with its reliability and accuracy. For beginners, I believe this product to be the best value for your money, I’m very satisfied!

They work pretty well for a cheaper set.
Arrived as advertised. They work pretty well. When I went to sharpen them, there were a few chips in the cutting edges that I didn’t notice until after I removed the coating on the top face. I just replaced the cutters on them, after turning a handful of wooden and acrylic pens.

Great for beginners!
Nice case, good torx wrenches to adjust and change the inserts. I've made 3 pens so far and rounded some square stock, all hardwood, and I'm only just starting to consider them dulling. A good buy for beginners like me.

Purchased this set and first time using the square bit chipped within 5 minutes, contacted the seller with a picture of bit Says I didn’t remove plastic coating on bit and caused carbide bit to chip. No warranty Returned to Amazon. ******UPDATE. Seller reached out to me and replaced it with new set. Honored warranty Very happy now

Buy it again
I was excited to receive my turning tools. All looked great and the box looks great too. I can't believe that these have made a world of difference in my wood turning. I'm a beginner and these tools have just helped me with my turning of wood. I look forward to using these more.

After reading the comments and reviews, I decided to reinforce the ferrules with heavy-duty tape prior to use, but the roughing bit must have had a crack in it, and shattered on the second workpiece I worked on. I messaged the seller after 8pm on a weeknight, and within 45 minutes, they messaged me back offering to send me a WHOLE SET of new tips. The chisels work fabulously, and pared down some spalted maple like butter. Would 100% buy again.

Decent tools if no defect
One tool came with a decent crack in the wood. It snapped immediately. Rest of the tools work great. Just the one with the defect in the handle broke after a few uses unfortunately.
