I purchase several things on Amazon and was giving pretty in-depth reviews. From this point on, here's the new agenda…. if it works as advertised, is well made, meets or exceeds the description, is a value, and arrives in a fair amount of time, it will get a "star rating" equal to what my expectations were/are. If it doesn't meet these criteria, then I will most definitely and descriptively tell the short comings of the products and you as a consumer will not have to go through the trouble of buying the product without some background knowledge. If the sell pulls that item and relists under another description, I will put the exact same review on the seller's feedback page. Sellers have done this a couple of times in the past, and I was true to my word then as well as now. DR

I have an old friend who called me up and offered me his non-working True recumbent bike. He told me that it was not working but it's in like-new condition just fix that electronic board and you are good to go. Well, I could not find a replacement board and I did not know if it would work anyway so I looked at how the resistance worked it was a geared motor 6v so I hooked up a 3.7v battery to the motor and it moved closer to the flywheel and it gave it more resistance. I reversed polarity and it went the other way easing up on resistance. After a quick search for a reverse polarity switch, I found this, and after hooking up the battery to it and the motor. This bike works great now but instead of some fancy lights and graphs, I am in charge of the resistance which I like better I can just jump on the bike start pedaling and increase resistance as much as I want, and then lighten the load super quick. This switch saved this bike from the graveyard and is getting me and my wife into shape for almost free!

I don't generally write reviews but was annoyed by the reviewer from October 2020 whining that he didn't receive a diagram or schematic so he gave it 3 stars. If you don't know how to drive a standard shift vehicle, but you buy a standard shift vehicle anyway, it is not the dealerahips fault for not teaching you how to drive it. Those that can do, those that can't hire an expert. With that said, I am very pleased with this switch and with this seller. The switch arrived on the day promised, and seems sturdy and well made. It latches with a solid click in each direction. Was very happy with the wired connectors provided, and they were done to the perfect length to allow for the cross connection without an unyielding amount of overage, so it will tuck nicely when installed. Connection is very basic. It's 3 prongs left and 3 right. One side is labeled 1 ( 1a, 1, 1b) and the other side is 2 (2a, 2, 2b). The middle prongs are where tge power goes in from your battery or fuse panel. Doesn't matter which side you pick, but if you connect positive (red wire) to 1, then 1a and 1b are positive charged, and vice-versa. You connect the end of the blue jumper that has 2 outputs to 1a, and you connect the other connector to 2b. Then the long end of the blue end to the positive terminal of your 12v dc motor. Do the opposite with the other side; double end to 2a, small connector to 1b, long wire to other dc motor terminal. When you flip the switch to the a side the motor will run clockwise, switch to b makes it run counter-clockwise. Simple, well made, easy to use. I will be buying more switches from this seller in the future.

I needed to replace a specialty relay, but there was a three month waiting period to purchase the relay from China. Add to that the shipping delays, I just went to a manual switch. The switch works as designed. One con is the wiring and connections that were supplied. I had the wiring fall out of the connector after installation. I replaced both the wires and connectors. This was not a big deal, just a small nuisance.

I'm actually using this as a wall switch to control a variable flame fireplace. I connected it to a cheap 6v DC transformer then to a line I ran to the fireplace, and it works perfect for this! WAY cheaper than the huge amount the fireplace manufacturer wants you to pay for their wall switch. I do wish it would fit nicer in a standard decora switch plate or standard keystone cutout, but I was able to make it fairly decent by gluing the plate this one came with to the inside of a decora wall plate.

Other than the switch was wider than the original it was a good replacement. I just had to widen the hole just a little for it to fit properly.

These functionally work fine. They are fine if you only want one switch but you better also buy the proprietary mount from the same company. This is NOT the same as the standard rocker panel switch size that's roughly 37.5 mm x 21mm. These are about 26mm x 21mm. (The same 21mm width also means you can't simply buy an adapter to fit the switch into a larger size standard hole). So if you are hoping to use multiple adjascent switches in some standard panel mount, you are out of luck. I am very frustrated with these switches and realize I should have purchased any different brand that uses a standard size to provide a hundred more possible mounting solutions.

I had a switch go bad on my home retractable awning, and finding an exact match for the broken one was impossible due to age of the unit. This switch was an even better alternative. I simply modified the face plate, wired to the switch and the awning was back in business. It looks good, and appears to be made of quality components.

Replacement part for snowblower. Works great.
