Viski Harrison Sake Gift Set, Pitcher and Tumbler set for Sake, Japanese Style Sake Stoneware, Four 3 oz cups and 15 oz Carafe, Set of 5, Matte Black

This arrived sooner than expected and the sake set far exceeded my expectations. It is solid and well designed. The obsidian around the bottom adds a unique but understated elegance that I have not seen in other sake sets. The heft, weight and texture are solid. The carafe is a good solid 15oz much more than the typical 8oz sake bottle making suitable for 4 people to have 2 pours or 2 people 4 pours. The only thing I am hesitant to do it put this into a hot water bath which is one of the typical means of heating up sake prior to serving. However this does not in anyway detract from the overall design or character of this magnificent sake set!

Poured warm sake into it and the whole thing cracked on contact. Hot sake was 104-110 °F. Thats not that hot but i guess for this cheap product it is. Very disappointed due to the price and the short return window with amazon. This is unfortunately the problem with amazon. 30days or less return window when stores are 30-90days to return. Ah well.

Beautiful design. High quailty ceramic. I've gotten a lot of compliments for it. But the packaging is terrible. Had to order two sets (both broken) just to make one set that wasn't cracked, chipped or flat out broken. Wish seller or Amazon packaged it better.

Honestly everything else about the set could’ve have been great. It’s attractive, sleek, and feels solid enough (as long as you’re not transporting it anywhere). I’ve always loved Viski stuff because of their unique modern take on sets. I have tons of their glassware that I’ve proudly used at my home bar, but if I had to say anything bad about them, it’s their poor packaging and fragile designs. It seems I constantly need to get a replacement or two before I finally land one that is not damaged and this sake set is no exception. If you’re willing to roll the dice like I am go ahead, but from the picture alone you can tell Viski desperately needs to work on improving their packaging or durability of product so these beautiful sets aren’t being smashed during transport. Order with caution.

Broke in shipping, other parts broke soon after w normal use. Too thin.

I love this set, however 2nd set also had a broken sake cup. Not going to return again, will just live with 3 cups?

I was attracted to the photo of the attractive, black, sleek lines of this set, specially since we use black as accent pieces with our dinnerware. (Personally I'm not keen on those usually ornate/hand-painted other sake sets.) This set is PERFECT!!!!!! The glossy black on the flat black finish makes the set look elegant, but subdued. The cups are a perfect size for sake.

Bought 4 sets. 2 of them were damaged and scratched on arrival. I don't know if it's the shipping company fault or if they were already broken in the box but for stoneware it was poorly packaged. Otherwise Looks beautiful when you look at it but it feels really fragile.

One of the cups was smashed, and the carafe had a huge scratch along it. The shipping box was fine, so this is a complaint for the manufacturer. The box it comes in has a small piece of foam which isn't enough to protect the items inside. Really frustrating to wait another week for a replacement.

One of the fours sake cups was broken on arrival but I promptly received a replacement shipment. This set is a great quality set with a beautiful contemporary style. A nice modern take on the traditional sake set.
