I first used this text book as a Student Naval Aviator in September 1965 during the Naval School of Pre Flight training syllabus at NAS Pensacola. I used it again at the Naval Postgraduate School, Monterey, CA in 1974. This book is of use to all pilots, aircraft design engineers, and those who teach aerodynamics in a formal class room environment. This is an excellent training booklet for understanding aerodynamics of fixed wing aircraft.

Basic aerodynamics for naval aviators
I bought this just because I've always been interested in aviation and wanted to understand the engineering better. It's not an engineering text, no problems to solve or questions to answer. Lots of formulas to define the concepts. The thrust is to tell the aviator how it all affects his use of the aircraft.
