Squirrel Deterrent
This is my go to birdseed because squirrels won’t touch the stuff. It’s also shelled so you don’t need to worry about sprouting plants when birds throw the seed on the ground. Attracts cardinals, doves, finches, blue jays and mocking birds.

The small birds seem to love this seed. The squirrels do not.Yay! They may try a little, but then they shake their heads and leave.

Great Bird Seed to Keep Squirrels Away
This is great bird feed to keep squirrels away. I have it on subscription shipping so I'm never out. The birds seem to love it! The squirrels haven't been back since I switched to this and they tried it once - that was enough to keep them from trying to get into the bird feeder again.

Great bird seed that doesn’t attract squirrels.
Attracts cardinals, variety of finches, mourning doves. Doesn’t attract squirrels, the biggest selling point for me. I deducted a star because this product is often delayed in shipping.

Squirrels leave it alone
Seeds are hulled, so mess is minimized. Seeds are spicy, so squirrels no longer empty the feeder within a scant few hours-- they just stay away from it entirely. However, the birds (cardinals, sparrows, morning doves, etc) make pretty rapid progress on it themselves (they will eat all but the chaff within a day or two). It's on the pricey side, so I've considered "diluting" with untreated seed--but haven't yet, so can't say what proportions might work well. Advisable to wash hands after handling, particularly if prone to touching your eyes.

It Does Really Work Right a Way
Definitely Recommend Worked as soon as I left it and the squirrels that use to take all of my bird seeds and eat it in the morning before my birds could get a chance to have some bird seeds but now when I left it for the morning not one seed the squirrels took for this bird seed is to too hot The Cardinals and other birds Keep coming back for more

Not that spicy
I've tried this brand a few times. I am not happy with it's ability to keep squirrels away. It's not proportioned with enough hot spice. When I open the bag I usually will sneeze when the aroma hits my nose but not so with this brand. I'm am going back to the fiery mix I get from Wild Birds Unlimited. It's worth the price and has never failed me not only to sneeze when I first open the bag but to keep the squirrels away.
