Anthony's Instant Chicory Root, 8 oz, Gluten Free, Caffeine Free, Non GMO, Coffee Alternative

This is by far the best coffee alternative for a coffee lover that I have found. I’ve tried several teas, mushroom coffees and even some other Chicory based options. None of them have given me that flavor or appeal of a good cup of coffee. Having developed an allergy to coffee I needed an alternative to all the things I love about my morning coffee- hot and iced. This product is as close as I’ve gotten. It has a smooth, rich flavor like coffee. When I mixed per instructions it feels a little weak in flavor so I used less water or more product, especially if I’m adding creamer or milk. It mixes very well with no clumping or unmixed particles at the bottom of the cup. It has an appealing aroma and doesn’t feel like a tea ( I feel like several replacement products are tea- like) I am new to this product so I’m hopeful that this helps me miss my coffee less. Give it a try if you need to replace coffee for whatever reason. It gets my vote as the best alternative. PS: it has the color of coffee so you know it looks amazing as an iced latte too All the things a coffee lover needs😉

This is excellent - very fine powder - I use a tablespoon of the Chicory Root powder in a 12 oz. coffee mug with very hot water, add a heaping teaspoon of cacao powder, and some coconut sugar - sometimes I add some Bliss creamer as well. It's very good - very comforting and filling. It tastes good alone as well - will definitely reorder!!

I bought this because I have awful GERD and for years now, I haven't had my beloved coffee. Decided to try this. It is a REALLY good coffee substitute. It has a chocolate-y aroma in the bag. Once prepared, it honestly tastes quite similar to coffee without that acidic bite we love from coffee. Still, it holds up really well in comparison. It has the slightest herbaceous smell but otherwise, is incredibly similar to a cup of joe. Not as complex as coffee but that could possibly be made up for with extracts and syrups if it's important to you. This is a heaven send, truthfully. It's been hours and no heartburn, no indigestion. Would buy again.

I'm a 45+ year drinker of coffee, mostly decaf since I retired. Even with decaf I'd often wind up with a sour stomach and have heartburn. After watching a YouTube video about heartburn, I took the advice of trying this Chickory Root coffee. IT IS SO SO VERY GOOD! Truly, a LIFE-CHANGER. No heartburn! Yay! It tastes so good and I don't miss coffee one iota. I'll be drinking this the rest of my life and not look back. I, of course, like heavy cream and stevia drops in my drink and you can't tell the difference if you taste it unless you're a real coffee snob. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Pros: Taste is light, is highly valued for its dense concentration of inulin, a powerful prebiotic fiber that feeds beneficial gut bacteria. I am a coffee lover. At home I was using Nescafe Instant Espresso powder. But I have really bad acid reflux and it was killing me, so I was looking for and alternative. I LOVE this so much. For me, I love it better than coffee. It tastes great and no pain. I am so glad I found this Chicory Root "coffee".

I absolutely love this chicory root powder. it mixes easily into hot water and tastes wonderful. If you haven't tried Chicory, you should. It has all the umami of coffee without the bitterness and caffeine. This is a great brand at a fair price. 8 ounces makes a lot of delicious drinks.

I really like this instant coffee substitute. It has a medium robust flavor. While it isnt coffee it tastes good mixes wonderfully and is very satisfying. Packaging is good too.
