Amazing Product
This is an amazing and innovative product. This kit comes with everything you need to get the best from Kiinde. 1. The bottles are fantastic. The design is such that my 4 month old infant can hold the bottle himself. They are light weight and because they are just a shell-it makes it easy for him to grasp onto. 2. The nipples are easy to clean(thanks to the great bottle brushes) and are the only thing that needs to be cleaned at the end of the day. This is my favorite part! At the end of the day, all I have to do is throw the pouches in the trash and wash the nipples. It saves so much time and energy. The slow flow nipples are still too quick for my little guy, but the genius of this kit is that I can use the adapters and screw on any other nipples I like. 3. Adapters-there are several different adapters that come with the kit, which is fantastic, since I use one type of breast pump at work and another type at home. I also use the adapters to accommodate a different nipple (see above). 4. The bags-they are easy and convenient. You can store them easily with the shelving unit that comes with the kit. They are also easy to snap into his bottle and you can squeeze them during feeding to speed the flow if needed. Because they are bags instead of bottles no air accumulates meaning it no gas for my baby! The day care seemed a little confused when I first brought these bottles in, but after a few days they loved them too! All in all this is a fantastic product and I would highly recommend it. The only draw back is the price of the replacement bags. After thinking it through a bit, my husband and I decided it was worth the extra money at the end of the month since the product is so great and versatile and clean up is a breeze.

One of the best things we've bought for baby so far
There is a longer review following but the short version is this: I love it. My husband loves it. I saw this and thought it looked neat but was a bit worried because no one I knew had tried it and I had seen some negative reviews on here. I was also worried because they don't have a nuk adapter as far as I know and lately that is all my daughter would take. She also has bad problems with gas and had pretty bad colic. For reference, we had tried Dr.Browns, Playtex nurser drop-ins, nuk, avent, tommy tippee and I believe one or two other types although the names escape me at the moment. I had written and asked for feedback on a breastfeeding group I'm a part of and two ladies said they loved it, one said she even credited it with fixing her daughter's nursing problems and getting her to no longer need a shield. I thought that sounded a bit too good to be true but decided to try it. Honestly, I love this system and so does my husband. It's much faster for me, I don't have to wash a million bottles and I don't lose any milk transferring from bottles to freezer bags or from my medela bottles to nuk bottles etc. My husband loves it because it's two parts not three or more to sanitize and if the milk needs to be warmed it only takes 5 seconds or less to have a bottle ready (from the fridge, frozen takes a bit longer but still isn't too bad.) I was worried it would take my daughter a bit to adjust to the nipple (she's VERY picky and doesn't tend to like bottles period) but she took to it immediately and had zero issues. Also, from the other bottles she had started to be a bit rougher when breastfeeding but after switching to these it was much better. It is easy to squeeze any air out of the bottles and my daughter rarely gets gas now and it is much less even on the rare occasion she does. Also I have not had any leaks whatsoever and find the screw on top to be much easier. I never have to worry about the ziploc type seals and if it sealed all the way and I haven't had any bags leak upon thawing. I know some people had mentioned problems with the nipples and adapters. I haven't had any problems with the nipples so far and we've been using them about a month or so. ( I heard they had fixed those issues) . I didn't have any problems with lack of suction with the adapters for the first several days, but after that I did have that happen twice. I was able to fix it by loosening the bag but didn't like that. I wrote kiinde and they told me they were aware of the problem, apologized and send me out two new slightly longer adapters free of charge that arrived in two days. Excellent customer service. Before those arrived I did realize the problem was actually due to my membrane/yellow thing not being pushed completely on which was causing it to rub against the adapter and lose suction. I found if I pushed it on completely it wasn't an issue however with the new adapters I don't have to worry about it at all.

A Great Kit for Getting Started or Trying Out the Kiinde System
This kit comes with everything you need to get started. The $99 "gift set" includes the same pieces as this kit, but also includes the bottle warmer. Since the warmer is $70, you'll save $10 if you decide you want it. However, the bags are thin enough that you can warm them under the tap in 2 minutes if they're refrigerated, and 5 minutes if they're frozen. I decided it wasn't worth it and went with this instead. I got this kit when I was debating whether or not the Kiinde system is worth the premium price for the bags. The convenience factor for an exclusive pumper like myself is high enough to really make the cost worth it, IMO. However, if you like the system, but are worried about the bag price, you can always clean them out 2-3 times and then you're sixes with lower-cost, lower-quality bags. (I see no difference between cleaning these a few times and cleaning a bottle.) The Kiinde bags are very high quality. The plastic is thick and resilient; the caps have never leaked on us. The real winner here is the nipples, though. I went to pumping because my son was such a poor nurser (bad latch, falls asleep, etc.) and these nipples have actually taught him how to latch properly. They do not reward laziness. They don't drip or leak, and they won't flood your baby's mouth with milk. Basically, they're very much like the breast. Some reviewers have said that their babies don't like these compared with other nipples, and I understand why. They take work! But if you want your child to be able to transition between the breast and bottle seamlessly, these are the bottles for you. I say I'm an exclusive pumper, but sometimes I choose to nurse to comfort my son, or if I'm in a pinch and don't have pumped milk with me. He now does so much better at the breast, and I know it's because of the Kiinde nipples. Your baby will also appreciate how easily you can squeeze out all the air before attaching the nipple. He'll have very little gas after feeding. Burping is a one-and-done affair. :) Overall, I would highly recommend this kit to anyone who is interested in giving this system a shot. It's an affordable way to get started and find out if this will work for you. My guess is that it will!

Great bottle, even better storage system.
This is my third child but first time using Kiinde. I love how easy the set is to use. Only downside is that the measurements are usually off on the pouch. I even tried the way they recommended for reading the amount. ( Squeeze the sides of the pouch back and make sure the bottom is spread out.) The nipples are one of the few my son will drink from that do a great job of pacing the flow of milk. With other bottles he would lose a lot of the milk out of the sides of his mouth with their slowest flow nipple. Another thing that stood out to me is how the milk pouches and lids are recyclable. I rinse mine out after the feeding and recycle them. Cuts down on excess plastic in the garbage. Very easy to use and clean. My dishwasher isn't full of bottles and bottle parts anymore.

Good system
I bought this set thinking I would be breastfeeding and pumping. It didn't quite work out that way but the kiinde slow flow nipples had the best flow rate for my preemie from the get go and he is still doing awesome on them at 3 months. I am still using this system even though I am formula feeding. I make a days worth of formula in a Dr Brown's pitcher which I purchased when I was trying out Similac sensitive (foamy when shaken). Anyway I found the pitcher to be a good way to have a days worth of milk prepared, and I pour from the pitcher into the twiste pouches my baby's 4 oz servings, store in fridge, and pop those into the kozi for about 4.5 minutes when my baby is hungry. The pouches warm up faster than a hard plastic bottle would and are sturdy. The kozi works well enough. It does it's job but isn't amazing. I tried probably 10 other bottles and though my baby was not picky, this bottle system has been the easiest, and this nipple has been the best latch for him and has not been too much flow for him like some of the others. Even Dr Bown's preemie nipples are faster than these. I will say the slow flow nipples are not no flow as claimed, however they are much slower than many other slow flow brands and I haven't had any problems with him leaking, choking, gagging etc. The slow flow has not impeded him from drinking a bottle in 15-30 minutes. I have tried the medium flow nipples and have found them too fast but appreciate that they are there for him when he is ready. The twiste pouches are high quality - I have had an issues with maybe 2 pouches of the several boxes I have gone through at this point. The bottle is large which has its pros and cons. My baby likes to try to hold the bottle and will sometimes throw his whole arm over the bottle (lol) which he didn't do with all the other bottles I tried. Sometimes he gets his little hands on a part of the bottle and pulls in a way that makes it hard for me to feed him properly but this isn't a big deal as I can usually when his little hands off of the bottle and place them back on it in a better way. Overall I'm very happy with my purchase despite the flaws- it is still the best product I have used. I've never had a leak like Dr Browns. I feel comfortable transporting these bottles in a diaper bag. The pediatrician also approved it as a good design for reducing gas for my colicky baby.

Amazing but expensive.
This system is amazing. I am a stay at home mom and pump exclusively because I couldn't get my baby to latch properly. Now I do have 2 negative things about it that caused us to not use it. 1) the bags are expensive. Just in my personal situation, if I was a working mom and we were both working parents, I would probably just work this into my budget but as a stay at home mom I have to cut costs here and there and it's just a lot more cost effective to wash bottles as annoying as it is. 2) you can't put the bags in the microwave to heat them up, I know everyone says your supposed to use a bottle warmer and not heat bottles in a microwave blah blah but we do. So we'd either have to put the bags in the $80 warmer or use warm water which takes longer. Other than that, I love the slow flow nipple that comes with the set, I LOVE not washing bottles (only breast shields and the nipple), I love that the bags hook up easily to my Medela pump with the adapters, I used this system during a road trip so I didn't have to wash bottles and it was wonderful.

Great for Busy Mom
I know there are a lot of mixed reviews of this product but I personally love it and would not switch to a different storage system. I did a lot of research before purchasing this to make sure I was selecting the best milk storage system suited for our needs. I love it because: 1. The milk bags are sturdy (pumped milk is precious and would hate to have spills or leaks). I've tried the Lansinoh milk storage bag but it just felt so flimsy compared to this 2. It is so easy to use! only need to wash one part ( the nipple) when feeding and the bag just snaps into the holder. 3. My baby likes the nipple that came with the kit so no need to use the adapters to get another brand to fit 4. Milk heats up pretty fast which is important when your baby is crying for her food and every second counts Things that I did not like: 1. The approximate volume of the bags are really hard to read. If you expand the bag by blowing into it you can get a better reading, but I feel like that introduces germs into the bag. I don't pump directly into the bag for this reason because I can't tell how much is in there. I usually pump into a bottle and then transfer into the bags so I can know the exact volume I put in there. 2. The storage rack is really bulky and doesn't even hold many storage bags. Nonetheless I love this system. My mother in law who watches the baby also loves how easy it is to use and I love that I don't have a whole bunch of bottle parts to wash each day. Most importantly I have peace of mind that the milk that I worked hard to pump is not leaking all over the place.

Happy with my purchase
I struggled to choose between this kit and the one with the heater- that one was almost $100 and this set was a lot cheaper. It really came with everything I needed to get started. The pouches are awesome as I don't have to wash bottles or worry about having to dump out milk that got forgotten in the back of the fridge-it just stays sealed. Although it does appear to be easy to dump out while still attached to the pump- my 3 year old got a hold of it while I tended to the baby and she had somehow managed to dump out 3 oz of milk I had just pumped- but that is on me for walking away. The kit comes with several different attachments to work with different breast pumps and we had no trouble finding one to fit with our Mandela pump. The nipples it comes with are labeled- but only on the lids which is a little frustrating because if you accidentally mix them up its a pain to figure out which is the slow, medium, and fast. Not impossible, just takes some time. I haven't really used the stand, but that is because I don't really pump and store several bottles at this point, I usually just use it for long trips or doctors appointments when my baby may get hungry when I am unavailable to nurse her. Since I do not bottle feed often, I am glad that I got this smaller less expensive set. If you are going to be using this more often, for overnights or something, the warmer would probably be a good idea because its probably more efficient that warming up a frozen or refrigerated bottle in your hands or with hot water.

Not safe
I waited for this product for two weeks.. so excited for this promised "game changer".. well it is. Is makes pumping life easier BUT it is not safe for the babies.. my milk was taking a blue color from the pouch and i had to throw a big quantity of precious expressed milk. So disappointed.
