What could I do with a rough, darkish, overly plastic-sprayed hiking staff? I sanded it a little to reduce splintering and then waxed it with this stuff. The wax left a muted, matte protective sheen, helping to blend the darker and lighter areas from my uneven sanding, and gave the stick an air of aged dignity.

Perfect for furniture design and some craft design.

I covered the black legs of a kitchen table with a dark brown Amy Howard furniture paint (I don't recall the name, but it is milky--chalky). It was too matte, so I ordered the wax and it really did make a nice difference. My only complaint is that it feels tacky even after sitting for a week. I'm assuming someone would say, "You have to rub it off after applying." I rubbed it off a little as the directions state, but I felt that if I kept rubbing it would be gone off the surface completely! So then what's the point? Anyway, it looks great and luckily the part it's applied to is not a place people touch often. In the pictures, the left leg is before the wax and the right is with the wax.

Easy to apply and buff out. Excellent results.
