MEGAWISE 1.8L Electric Glass Kettle with Auto Shut-Off and Blue LED

Nice product . It heats up water fairly quickly. I like the blue light indicating it is on and the fact that the boiled water never touched plastic. It is easy to place it in the heating support and overall it works well.

I recommend the kettle to everyone so easy to use in no time water boil on the go I am able to make a cup of tea no stove to turn on.

I ordered this product back in Oct of 2025. In Aug of 2026 the handle started getting very hot. I immediately unplugged it and contacted the seller asking for assistance and or a possible replacement. I can only say WOW, the customer service reps/managers named Yiane and Ian were so kind, helpful and all around great. After providing the requested order number etc, they immediately informed me that I would receive a brand new kettle in just a couple of days, (which I actually did receive), **that is working perfectly 👍😀. If this wasn't enough great customer service, they even followed up asking me did I receive the new kettle, (which I found very impressive). So I can only say, I love my kettle and please know that if you already have one or are on the fence about which one to try, just know, that if you happen to have an issue with it, you can rest assured that the Megawise team will be johnny on the spot helping rectify the situation.

Wanted to love this kettle but after only 3 months we noticed what I thought was loose tea from a broken bag. When it appeared again a day later after having been wiped out, I quickly realized that it was metal fragments from somewhere under the heating plate that were somehow getting into the kettle. When I bought the kettle I completed the info to receive a 1-year warranty. So today, I reached out to the manufacturer via chat. Over the course of about 90 minutes (yes, 90 minutes!) they tried to blame the fragments it on water quality/ hard water / build up and ultimately suggested I use vinegar to remove any build up. There was no build up because 1. we have a whole house filter and only use reverse osmosis water in the kettle, 2. I regularly cleaned the kettle with vinegar, 3. We don't have hard water - I've had it tested. We wipe the kettle out on a regular basis AND isn't build up from water usually white, not reddish brown. Next they repeatedly told me that their customer support only provides replacement parts and troubleshooting help but is not for warranty service. Then they informed me that since the kettle was sold by Amazon Services, they are responsible for honoring the 1-year warranty. Sounded like BS but I did as they asked and called Amazon who then called the manufacturer and confirmed that the manufacturer, MegaWise is responsible for warranty service. Amazon only covers the first 30 days. The Amazon rep tried to connected me with the rep at MegaWise and when Amazon disconnected the call, so did the MegaWise rep. Meanwhile, I still had the chat open from MegaWise customer support - the one who told me Amazon was responsible, so I filled her in on what happened and she reluctantly offered a one-time replacement. At that point, I was on my second call to Amazon. The Amazon rep, after hearing what I'd done to try and resolve the issue, immediately offered me a refund and apologized for the ridiculous inconvenience. At that point I declined the offer of a "one-time replacement" from the Live Chat rep at MegaWise and mentioned that I'd be sure to leave a detailed review of my experience with both the product and customer service. Check out the pictures, the kettle has a big design and or manufacturing flaw that doesn't properly seal the glass and metal together. The water gets trapped in the metal base of the kettle causing it to corrode and allowing metal flakes back into the kettle each time it boils. Dangerous. And why would you buy anything from a company that boast a 1-year warranty they never had any intention of honoring. They claim they "want you to be happy" It's even printed on the bottom edge of the kettle. However, it took me 90 minutes of live chat, and two calls to Amazon to get this resolved. Don't just stay away from this kettle, stay away from the company!

This works well. Boiled the water quickly!

This kettle looks really nice and does the job really well. Its really big and I love that about it. I like to bring the water to a boil in the kettle when I cooking something that requires boiling water because it is SO much faster than doing it on the stove top so large capacity is important to me. I like that it lights up blue when its on because its so pretty, I know that silly but its the simple things, right? I only took off 1 star because I bought a Used one that was supposed to be "like new" but it had some scratches in the bottom. Doesn't affect its performance though. With so many electric kettle options out there, this is a good option and definitely cheaper than other ones but I think the appearance and functionality match that of the more expensive ones.

Before buying this kettle, I returned two others, but I will keep this one! I like that the pour spout is glass--part of the kettle itself rather than a piece of stainless steel or plastic added to the glass. Unlike other kettles with plastic or stainless steel spouts, there is no "filter" (flap with holes) in back of the spout, which is good since I don't have to keep that part clean. I assume the "filter" makes pouring easier by slowing down the flow. The water pours well without the "filter." Unlike one of the other kettles, the lid on this kettle opens wide when you push the button without needing to pull it up further, manually, when adding water. The kettle comes with a cleaning pad of questionable quality, which I haven't used yet. The inside of the lid is stainless steel. Whereas I was concerned that having the on-off switch on the handle would result in accidently turning the kettle on when pouring, its location seems to make that risk unlikely. When the water starts to boil, the noise leve is surprisingly low compared to other kettles we've had. The kettle is surprisingly lightweight, which is good for us. The power base is lightweight, and putting the kettle back on the base can be tricky. The only concern I have is the durability of the lid release button (seems cheap compared to an older kettle). I wonder how the spring function will hold up over time. The boil time isn't super fast, but it wasn't described as being so. Overall, we are happy with this kettle so far and think it is a good value for the price.

We purchased this kettle about a year ago. I anppreciate the automatic shut off feature, and it’s fairly quick to boil. Unfortunately we were running into an electrical issue with it recently, but were very happy with the Megawise customer service. They were easy to contact and replaced the kettle with a new one which is no longer having the same issue.

Love this kettle. A few months in, mine shorted out and stopped working. I contacted megawise and after sending them a video of the kettle not boiling water, they sent a replacement kettle. They followed up to make sure I received the new kettle. Extremely good customer service from this company. They are very attentive to making sure I was happy and satisfied. I would recommend purchasing from them all day long.

I didn't need anything fancy, I was just sick of microwaving my mug of water for tea. Given the price, it was more ideal to get one of these than the traditional stove top-type kettles. This was perfect for my needs, takes a bit of time to boil, but probably not any longer than it would on the stove. As an added plus, turn down the lights and you've got a neon blue bubbling light show. How long it lasts, well that's yet to be determined...
