ASTRO Gaming Logitech G A20 Gen 2 Wireless Headset PlayStation - White/Blue

These are awesome!! The sound is great, and I love the mic mute feature, they are super comfortable and not too hot to wear.

I previously purchased the Xbox version of this headset and loved it, however, the PS5 version has constant “popping” or interference coming through along with the audio. Obviously very distracting, and not what you’re looking for out of a new headset. Willing to give the benefit of the doubt that this particular headset is defective, but I will be trying to replace the one I received. EDIT AFTER TRYING AGAIN: After my initial purchase I couldn’t believe I was having so many issues with the headset, so I requested a second set to verify whether or not it was a one-off problem or something systemic with the product. After trying out the second pair and having the same “issue”, I knew it was a me problem. I quickly discovered that the static or interference I was experiencing was a result of the USB drive in my PlayStation being on PC mode and not PlayStation mode. I pressed the button on the USB drive and the problem instantly went away. The headset has performed exactly as I thought it would originally, and I highly recommend it.

Really great headset

Okay, I do a lot of research before I buy something. Especially when it goes over the $100 mark. I was really picky too because I wanted a good quality headset to play alongside my PS5. I really think with this one I got the best all around bang for the buck. Sound is good and I love the way it responds to noise direction as I turn around in the game. So cool. It could have used a few more decibels of volume but it really is not as quiet as some of the other reviewers make it out to be. It has an initial click up in volume but I have found you can push it past that and get a little more out of it. Which is perfect for me. Also, I treat all my gear very gently and I will say this thing does not feel like it would survive and angry chuck across the room gaming rant/rage. But just don’t do that…haha. No need to get that mad over a game anyway. It’s god quality don’t get me wrong but it’s not probably as hardy as some of the others in the lineup. That said it is perfectly fine. Comfort-Oh boy are they comfortable. I wear glasses and I feel zero tension between the cups and the frame of the glasses on my head. I have had some good 4 hour sessions with absolutely no problems. With the material sweating is not a huge issue either. After long gaming sessions I take them off and feel the slightest amount of sweat around where the cups were resting which is going to happen with any headset you buy. This one just managed the sweat perfectly. No stick, no issue. All said, I would highly recommend these for those who do not want to spend $300 plus on the next step up.

These are much better than the sony Playstation ones. They are more comfortable, sleek, the noise cancelation is better, I am glad I decided to try them.

Been using it them only on PC and have never had an issue. No idea what other reviewers seem to be complaining about.

First off, only up to date install instructions came from an Amazon Review. Neither the Astro website or Youtube channel had anything that resembled the version of the product purchased. Normally I would say its a headset not much to install, but it comes with a USB transmitter that has two modes either console or PC. The button that switches between them is labeled "Multi-Function Button" like how does that let me know its a toggle between modes? The only indication that the device is in either mode, a blue or white LED on the USB dongle, how do you know which color corresponds to which mode, go read said Amazon review as the website sure doesn't say anything. I finally got it installed, and holy hell is the mic sensitive, like it picks up breathing and keyboard types and I am not a mouth breather and have a soft non-mechanical keyboard. It would also randomly pick up when everything was silent, you could tell because of the sudden burst of static through the speakers. So I figured lets download the SW so I can edit the mic settings, well I did, but the SW can't detect the device, says it needs to switch to PC mode, guess what I'm in PC mode. There are two versions one that says its compatible with the A20, I tried both as it doesn't seem that Astro paid much attention to detail, neither worked. I figured oh well I guess I'll annoy my teammates, but the final straw was that USB dongle I talked about, I plugged into my only open port on the back of my PC, everytime I restarted the PC, guess what the stupid thing comes up in the console mode! So I would have to reach around and press the button EVERYTIME. So overall sure sound quality is okay but it is just a not easy to use device its is definitely not a PC friendly device, maybe strictly for consoles. I returned them.

Amazing

I bought the Pulse Elite for my ps5 but they were making weird noises so I replaced them with this. Great sound, excellent comfort, great battery. One thing to note is the upper band collects dandruff pretty easily so you will have to clean it regularly. Would highly recommend.
