Very easy to fit it yourself.
Great product and very easy to fit once you have got the top off the washing machine. You may need to break the old unit to get it out, but what the heck it's broken anyway and does not stop insertion of new unit. Much better than the $340 the repair company were going to charge me for this part!!

Can’t go wrong (unless you order the wrong part)
Right part, worked like a charm!

It fit, it works, all good
Another product that just is what it promises to be. It's inside the washing machine so the looks etc are pretty irrelevant but it works....

Exact Replacement - Bosch Quality
This hot water solenoid valve is the exact replacement part I needed. My cold water solenoid went bad. It actually stuck OPEN! This caused a panic with my wife as the water flowed in even with the power off and unplugged. Normally these valves leak water into the drum or will not open. I decided to replace both sides while I had the washer opened up. These valves are so easy to replace. Remove the two torx screws on both upper corners in the back of the washer, slide the top back, remove it. You will see the two valves right on top. Shut off the water and disconnect the water hose(s) from the back of the washer. Now remove the hose clamps with a pair of pliers and pull the black rubber hoses off the valves. The valves snap in and you must push in the flat side with the locking tab with a screwdriver while sliding the valve sideways away from the side that has a V shape and the valve will release. Reverse these instructions to install the new valve and you are done! TIP: I would also suggest replacing the washers in the feed hoses while they are off and check/clean the screens in the washer and possibly in the end of the hose as well. Give the hoses a good inspection and replace them if there is any question. It is an easy job while the washer is pulled out and the water is shut off. Also do not overtighten these feed hose connections. Hand tighten and then an additional quarter turn is all you need, any more, you risk damaging the hose or the washer.

Saved my 20 year old washer
Fixed my Siemens washer that was slowly adding water to the drum when turned off. Easy fix if you're a handy person

Hotwater inlet valve does the job!
Installed this part n about 1 minute. Works fine. so far... I wasn't sure if my hot water or cold-water inlet valve were leaking so I replaced them both. It took longer to remove the top of the washer than to replace the valves.

fixed it
If you have a washer that uses this valve make sure to buy both the hot and cold water valves , one is as old as the other and both are usually next to each other , so fix it once and be done ! Our washer is 20 years old and this valve fixed it right up ! this easy repair was cheaper then a new washer or a repairman ! Most definitely recommend .
