Quiet and Effective
We recently moved to the city into a tiny apartment with a large dog that sheds heavily. I don't usually have allergies but noticed that I started sneezing a ton more in this new living situation. I did a bit of research on air purifiers and settled on this one primarily because of the price and the way it looks. I wanted something that was visually unobtrusive. I have been very happy with how this purifier has worked out for us. We've definitely notices an improvement in the air quality in our apartment. It has eliminated all of the sneezing I was experiencing. It is quiet in it's low and medium settings, and sounds like a fan on the highest setting. I leave it on auto mode and it really only kicks into high gear when the dog lays on her bed (right next to the purifier) or when we're cooking. It seems to be very sensitive to increased air pollution and adjusts the speed responsively. The pre-filter works really well. I'm a bit appalled by how gross it gets, but it's nice to see that it is, indeed, filtering small particles out of the air. I give it a quick wipe with a wet cloth once a week, very easy and convenient to clean. Worth the cost, very happy with this purchase.

Great-looking, minimalist air purifier
I previously had a nice-looking, "smart" Mila air purifier. It was fine as an air purifier, but it was very expensive, and the "smart" features kept disconnecting. So, when it finally stopped working, I decided to replace it with an air purifier that's relatively simple. However, I wanted something that still matched the aesthetic of my apartment. This Coway 150 seemed to fit! Love the look of it, and it does a pretty job purifying, as well. Cooking? The purifier starts running. Open the hallway door? The purifier starts running. I feel better about the air quality in my apartment while also being happy about how it looks.

First 2 weeks. Seems great. Quiet, easy clean filters. Nice design.
Pros: - easy clean dust filter. simple to vacuum and rinse - Cool design and shape. Less all around noise compared to the smaller round ones . Flat shape fits next to stuff better Cons: wish it had wheels or rounded bottom. Would make it easier to slide around on carpet or hard floors. touch sensor doesn't work well with wet fingers expensive filter replacements

Overall great purifier, with a couple improvements to be made
Overall, this is a great purifier. I took a chance on it without any reviews because I liked the design a lot better than the other popular Coway model, and I'm happy I did. It does seem to make a difference in my allergies, and does seem to filter particles in the air. I don't see hardly any particles in the air when I look in the sunlight, whereas before I saw a lot of them. Pros: - Cleans the air really well in my bedroom which is about 150-200sqft - Air quality sensor seems to work well. If I do something like blow out a candle or even bring in food emitting steam into the room (or run a humidifier) it picks it up within seconds and you see the color indicator change. - Really simple design which is a big plus. It's just a big box. It has a removable front filter that is actually easy (unlike some others) to just wash off, dry, and stick back in. It dries fast, too. - Auto mode (w/ sensor) seems to work really well. Again, it picks up the air quality and automatically adjusts the fan speed accordingly. This does seem to work very well in my tests, not much "hit or miss" performance, it's almost right on the money all the time detecting things in the room. - On fan mode 1 it's almost inaudible, very quiet. If you have a computer or something else in the room you won't hear the purifier fan over it. On fan mode 2, there is a slight noise but it's still very gentle. - Air output at the top is really good. I can stand across my room and feel the clean air being pumped into my room. - Easy to clean. Besides the easy pre-filter, the outside is literally just a wipe-down on top and front since it's a box shape. No weird angles to get into or anything like that. Just a fast wipe. Cons: - Fan mode 3 is significantly louder than 1 or 2. This does not bother me personally, but it is noticeably louder. This might be a con for someone leaving it on "auto" mode - it'll be dead silent in your room and suddenly the fan will be louder if it detects poor air quality. I typically leave mine on fan mode 3 all the time for the best air quality. It's really not that loud overall, but it's definitely noticeable. I feel like it works the best on level 3 for my allergy symptoms, but I would prefer to have the noise level of level 2. - The unit itself is a little larger than I imagined. This isn't necessarily a con, but for me it kinda was. I place it on my L-shaped desk and it's fine, but it takes up more space than I realized. Make sure to measure your space before buying it! I would give 4.5 stars if possible. I wish fan mode 3 was slightly quieter while having the same power. If it was a little smaller, that would be awesome too. Otherwise this is a really solid unit!

Very good product. My son's allergies are gone. It's amazing how such a small product can bring such improvements in our lives. Very clean air and healthy living.

This product should not be sold in Europe (Amazon ES) because it only supports 110V. This is critical information and should have been clearly stated in the product description and instructions. Additionally, the seller has repeatedly provided an incorrect return label that only works for returns within the USA. As a result, I have been unable to return the item, which costs over 300 euros and is very heavy. I am requesting immediate assistance to resolve this issue, including providing a valid EU return label or a full refund.

I have a Dyson HP09 in my bedroom that cost over $1000, and I use the Coway to clean the air in the rest of my apartment. My building uses a scented cleaning substance in the hallways and the smell drives me absolutely nuts + gives me headaches if I'm around it for too long. I am very sensitive to scented chemicals and perfumes and can catch the tiniest little whiff, but the Coway succeeds at removing all perceptible traces of the smell within my unit. While I recognize that part of the cost difference is in the fact that the Dyson it also heats / captures formaldehyde / has a fancy LED display, the fact that this little guy is less than a quarter of the price and outperforms it at cleaning air is pretty crazy. On its auto mode when the air is at steady state clean, it's also much quieter than the Dyson's equivalent auto mode. It processes odors and particulate matter much faster than the Dyson and seems to be way more sensitive - in a good way. I spray some cleaning fluid on the kitchen counter, it revs up. I heat up some food, it revs up. Someone who smokes walks into my place - it revs up. I open the apartment door for a second and let in a whiff of hallway air - it revs up. Smells never linger very long when this little guy is running, and the air quality in my unit has become noticeably fresher and cleaner. Headaches are gone. Definitely the best $250 I've spent in a long time. Sure, the Dyson looks a little cooler - but if you're after performance and value for money, the Coway Airmega 150 blows Dyson absolutely out of the water. What a wonderful little unit! So grateful that Coway made this. :)

I’ve been using the this for a few months now and I’m honestly impressed with how well it works. Setup was really easy, just plug it in and it was ready to go. The air quality monitoring seems to work..? (not sure how accurate it is tbh) I leave it on auto mode most of the time and it adjusts the fan speed depending on the air quality, which is super convenient. It’s quiet enough that I can leave it running while I’m sleeping at 2nd peed button but overall it feels like it actually improves the air in my home, which is exactly what I wanted. Definitely worth it if you want something reliable and easy to use for a medium sized room. Just one thing to note is that the authentic filter for coway doesnt ship to my area for some reason
