Exhausted from giving, decorating, spontaneous singing, dressing up for parties, good time clean-up, long hours and staying up late, watching too many holiday movies with touching endings, hello and goodbye hugs and kisses, inbibing past your limit, not getting enough sleep, etc. It's the day after and I need just me, my lounge chair, soft music, a glass of something nice and Godiva chocolate. The look, the smell, taste, the feel on my tongue and waking my tastebuds. It's the something special needed before I'm thrown into the end and breakdown of the magical season . Even after quite a while I still feel the texture and smell of my favorite guilty pleasure. (Did I hide it well?Need to make sure it's not easily found by other fans. After all, it's my gift to myseft for being good all year. They keep asking what I'm cooking.....Godiva

Perfect as birthday gift for a friend!

They arrive sealed, of course It was almost a year before anyone finally told me that these chocolates that I gave as Christmas gifts to 40 odd friends and neighbors were melted and uneditable.

I purchased this as a Valentines gift. I can't review the taste as I didn't open the box. The reason for the 4 star review is the sticker on the front stating "high fat and sugar content" I think we probably all know this?! It just ruins the presentation. I plan on placing a pretty sticker over the labeling in order to cover it up.

I absolutely love Godiva chocolates. I ordered these as a gift for a nurse that took excellent care of my mom at the rehab. When I took them to her, I realized that they had expired in August (a month before). I apologized to her and I told her that I would order her something else and so I took these home. I figured they would still taste good, so I tried them and they were inedible; they tasted horrible. Some of them even were discolored with a whitish film. I feel like the company should make this right. It was a totally embarrassing experience as well. I will continue to order them like I always have for gifts, but I will immediately check the expiration date when I receive them in the future.

I purchased 4 boxes of these chocolates boxes as gifts. I was embarrassed and upset that all 4 boxes had been infected with a white and grayish substance. Although, it may not be harmful to eat, no one wanted to eat them. Some of the milk chocolate had turned completed white. The taste was horrible. Not like Belgium chocolate, more like wax. The date was Ok but I felt the chocolate was either super old or something went off during processing. I feel there should have been a recall on this chocolate. I could not return the chocolate as they were gifts that ended up in the garbage. For the price I paid, it was a big rip off. I definately do not recommend this product.

Decent taste but arrived with a grey fat bloom. They chocolates are not stored properly, likely too hot, and you can tell when you open the box. It looks dingy and would be an embarrassing gift.
