The most authentic flavors of Jamican Jerk Seasoning
Used this to marinade overnight some chicken drumsticks; also made sure to use one layer of charcoal with some pimiento wood chips in my cast iron smoke box on my Oklahoma Joe's portable grill. I flipped the chicken every ten minutes for about 40 minutes, then temperature checked it with an instant read thermometer. It was perfectly 170 after 40 minutes. I removed it from the grill and placed it in aluminum pans and covered to let it rest a few minutes. It was PERFECT, finger licking good, so moist and VERY flavorful! Before you marinade; make sure to salt your chicken with some coarse kosher salt - it helps draw out the moisture so it gets a nice crust on the outside. Also, make sure to have a brush to baste the remaining marinade on the grill after every flip. You won't regret this purchase and its a huge tub and very well packaged.

Simply the Best
Walkers Wood is the best jerk seasoning on the market. Look at the ingredients. Try it. I use buckets of this and it is appreciated by the hundreds I serve weekly. It’s simple. Put some in a bowl, add your favorite oil about 25% whisk it in. Use it on pork, chicken, beef, vegetables. Meat is better after a few days but you can just slap it on and grill, sauté or roast. It versatile. Add some stock and you have a spicy jerk sauce. It also preserves meat for quite some time if refrigerated. Be safe of course. Don’t forget this product comes from Jamaica. They don’t mess around with their jerk. You can get spicy or mild. I buy both and mix them accordingly. You will not regret using Walkers Wood if you like jerk.

Get SLAPPED with seasoning by this amazing jerk
This thing is a flavor bomb in a plastic pail. turns out it’s also my new go‑to kitchen co‑pilot. A little scoop brings a proper Jamaican jerk vibe to chicken, pork, fish, even roasted veggies, without me having to fiddle with eight different spices or chant over a grill. What I love: The paste is thick and serious, not some dusty powder that disappears on your hands. Rub it on, let it sit, then grill or bake. Simple, fast, and delicious. Heat is real but not chaotic. It makes your food sing, not scream. Enough to make you respect the seasoning without needing a gallon of milk. Quantity is wild. You’ll do more than just the weekend cookout. this bucket practically dares you to host a backyard party or start a weekly jerk night. Only small caveats: Because it’s powerful, you don’t need much. It’s easy to be generous and then suddenly things get spicy. Start modest, then add if you’re bold. The bucket is big. It lives on the counter now, and honestly, it feels like it’s judging my other condiments for being underachievers. Overall this seasoning is amazing and I HIGHLY reccomend it over just about any other

The best jerk seasoning made.
The best Jamaican jerk seasoning available. This jerk seasoning is authentic and easy to use and store. I buy it by the bucket because I make jerk chicken about every week. I store the seasoning in glass jars in my refrigerator and it lasts a long, long, time. I use the jerk chicken as an entree and as an addition to salads. I also slice it for sandwiches. This is the best made and authentic Jamaican.

incredible marinade but packing could be better
this is my entire family's go to marinade. Love it!!! Spice is perfect and taste is incredible if you marinade and cook properly. I only dropped a star because when I opened it, there was liquid everywhere because they packed the spicy in a plastic bag with a zip tie that obviously wasn't up to the job. The bag was too big as well. Putting my spoon in to scoop out that wonderful jerk, I got it all over my hand. Now I have to decide if I should just pour it into bucket and toss the bag or what...

Best to get the tub
Best to get the tub. If you buy it in smaller jars, the flavour is not as powerful. If you want that authentic street corner Jerk Man smoker taste, get the tub, use what you need (marinate in baggies overnight in the fridge) and just keep the rest in the fridge for the rest of the year, lol. It's worth it and you'll have plenty excuse to smoke up the block on weekends. Get the Jamaican wood when it's available and smoke it up!

Not sure if this was supposed to have been a wet rub but i was expecting a dry rub probably bought in bulk from a container ship that sat for years

First tub I bought had the seasoning in a plastic case surrounded by a dark, salty, peppery liquid. Was unsure if this was meant to be or if the package had leaked. Queries to the distributors and Walkerswood were met with no response. I eventually purchased another tub as it works out at about £2.20 per jar and contains the equivalent of 15 jars. With this purchase the inside plastic container was intact and not surrounded by any liquid.
