This is by far the best beach castle making set around. I purchased this one for my brother in law. I have had mine for over 5 years and the metal shows some rust inside, but it still works great and not showing signs of breaking any time soon. Really easy to carry around, large shovel (metal) is quick and easy to assemble, small shovel (super resistant plastic) is great for detailing with a sharp front. The bucket is heavy if filled all the way to the top (may need to fill halfway if a kid is carrying it). It can carry a lot of water, helpful to lay the foundation for the castle in a few trips. The straps are still like new. Love to use with my kids. Thanks Pufferfish for thinking of everything.

The Pufferfish kit had everything we needed for a fantastic week at the beach. The shovel is so amazing - comes in sections and snaps right together - and is very strong. It makes it so easy to dig a big pile of sand which is step one for an awesome castle! The bucket is really useful. It carries a lot of water and the various holding straps make it easy to carry and to pour. And then there are the Super Scoops! This tool makes shaping, carving, scraping and digging so easy. With two bags to hold the various tools its portable, durable and impressive! My family had so much fun with this and we can't wait to take Pufferfish to the beach again!

We built the most amazing sand fort with this collapsible set made of ocean plastic the last time we went to the beach! Perfect set if you have an older kid (8+) that still wants to play. You move sand fast, the only limit is your imagination. As a single mom I made dads jealous with how quickly and easily my kid was buried and we made something really cool. I liked how easy it was to break down and store everything in the bag too. The set is pricier upfront but worth the investment knowing I’ll have something that will last forever & do right by the planet.

The bucket is great from the beach! Unfortunately the big shovel broke after 30 min of being at the beach.

Loved how Sturdy the shovel and water pail were. Made at least 50+ trips to carry water to my mermaid tail. Worked well. Had side handles on pail to grab and tilt sideways to pour water out. Would definitely recommend if you go to beach and love to play in the sand. Adults or kids. lol.

Sturdy with no sharp edges so, way safer for my grandsons. The set looks and feels like quality tools that should outlast their childhoods. The colors are vibrant and all fits nicely into the backpack. We have yet to use them, thank you Hurricane Beryl, although we have fondled them several times. I REALLY want to get to some sand now!

I've broken countless plastic shovels at the beach, and was very excited when I found the Pufferfish set online after a quick Google search. I had high hopes, and it has not disappointed. The shovel is easy to assemble/disassemble and makes quick work when digging holes. Digging huge holes and building walls has always been one my favorite activities, but now we're talking some serious holes that the kids love. The rest of the set is an added bonus that makes building castles and moats tons of fun. We've used the set about 10 times and it seems like it will last forever. If you go the beach, you need to get this.

But lots of fun! My kids had a great time playing in the sand with this set. It’s a little expensive but not flimsy and I feel it will last a long time. Packs up nicely for easy transport.
