My boys are obsessed with Sharkboy and Lavagirl so my oldest wanted his own dream journal and this is just perfect!

My daughter has crazy dreams and she loves to use this.

Cool little book and cover is cute. Would look great for a kids bedside table, would be even better if hardcover bc the coloring and art on it great but it is a soft cover book.

My daughter is never short of an interesting story to tell me mostly every morning about the dream she'd just had. She's half way through the age of thirteen and finishing her last year of elementary school, my baby's growing up fast, leaving what were probably the easiest years of her life, and entering into the chaotic hormonal world of that of a teenager which most of us remember being probably the hardest years hands down! The teenage years are the years when every parent questions themselves on their parenting skills often and this is actually a normal part of letting our little babies explore their surroundings alone. I'm obviously NOT ok with this!! LOL!!! Can't you tell? Haha anyway, my daughter's morning stories are precious to me so I bought her this book so that she could. A) understand that her dreams are the creative way our psychological minds work through the events that we've experienced in our wakened reality and if she can keep track of them, it will help her find answers to some of those little life questions we all contemplate in adolescence that drive some, unfortunately into deep depression by not knowing the answers so some of the hardest questions we ask ourselves. Also, as an over sentimental momma... I can go through this book with my daughter, and open another line of communication between us that she can trust and that I can be aware of her subconscious mindset. Preventive parenting. This dream journal is a perfect way for our kids to express themselves and for parents to take notice and keep awareness on a different level. Great tool to use to create open communication and a deeper bond with your kids as they progress into adolescence... with out distance.

This is just what my son wanted.

My youngest daughter spends a lot of time describing her dreams to us in great detail, so we bought her this journal. We like the little checklist/info page for each entry. Definitely great for kids. My only complaint is that the pages seem very thin and flimsy.
