Works very well, and not as messy as I feared.
Works very well, and not as messy as I feared. It's not exactly powder or dust -- it's hard to describe; maybe kinda like fake snow. Do handle with care, but it not too bad. Good value; one bag will go pretty far. Be aware that it will noticeably lighten the color of your epoxy if you add a substantial amount.
User
Works perfect
It worked better than expected. The only issue I had is it tinted the epoxy a dull white color but that was easy to work around. The project i was working on was a bathtub and i needed something to seal my edges du to stupid sheetrock work. So this worked for me with some minor tweeks.

Does not dissolve clear
Do not get this expecting it to turn up clear after mixing. It's kinda a pita to mix too. It does work well with pigments

Really thickens well
This stuff really thickens epoxy a lot. You can go overboard quickly, as I found out. It's so lightweight, it feels like you aren't adding much -- then bam, you suddenly have peanut butter. Which might be just what you need! Best to add a little at a time, mix well, and note how much you added to a set amount of epoxy in order to get your desired viscosity. Great filler, all around. Does make clear epoxy turn milky in higher concentrations.

It make a different
I used this for the first time, I followed the instructions and It work as it say, Without it I don't think I will be able to complete the job using the epoxy the same as if I covering a wall with cement .
User
Works as advertised
Although I did not use this as a covering, I did use it to glue 32 ga steel to a structure with both a positive and negative curve. Held in place with a sandbag, it seems to have worked quite well. Of course itโs always difficult to give initial quality on something when that quality will only become apparent after at least a year.

This stuff ruined my pour costing me time and money, do not use!
This stuff ruined my countertops, I had to spend a whole week sanding them down to repour. It didnt mix in properly and left little white balls that left texture on the counter, it made the clear epoxy turn a whitish color which made visible marks where the countertop meets the edge and backsplash and as it cured it left a horrendous drippy, orange peel texture.
User
Reasonable price, easy to use
Very effective...stirs in well with the epoxy, has no odor, and doesn't seem to affect the curing time, or noticeably add to the volume.
User
Easy to use, try to keep your work area out of the wind.
I uses this to fix some damage to the rudder on my sailboat, mixed with polyester resin until it was a thick paste and applied it with a wide popsicle stick and sanded it down. Worked perfectly! And yes I know that polyester is not the best choice below the waterline but it just the rudder and its what I had on hand, it will be just fine.

10/10 will buy again
Very usefull to thicken epoxy resin and make it stronger. Good for marine applications
User
Did the job
The product did what it meant to do. However. It turns the clear epoxy cloudy or white if you use too much.
User

Epoxy Thickener
I tried to use this product for a waterfall countertop. We had trouble getting the lumps out. I used a drill and paddle to mix and even when it looked smooth once it was applied on the counter sides, it dried with lumps. We followed the steps on the package, it qas very disappointing. We sanded and tried 3x to apply. It was a lot of work for something that didnt turn out.
