A treat for the squirrels
Our neighborhood squirrels love these. I started buying them after I read that peanuts can be quite detrimental to squirrels. More expensive, of course, than peanuts but the squirrels keep us entertained on our patio. We dole out only 5 per day, one at a time.

BEST HAZELNUTS AVAILABLE!
We are longtime repeat customers. At least a year. My wife is a licensed wildlife rehabber specializing in squirrels. Hazelnuts are perfect for them because the shell is hard. That keeps their teeth sanded down. The nut is small, and healthier than most nuts. We buy a couple boxes a month. The packaging is very well done. The nuts are clean and dry. The price is usually lower than everyone else.

Can't find these bad boys local, so I ordered. Arrived in a scotch taped box, but the internal bags are solid. Very good, I'll get these again when the craving hits.

Squirrels Love Them!
I just learned that peanuts (not nuts, they are legumes) are bad for squirrels. I bought these large hazelnuts for them along with chipmunks and any other critters that could eat them. As soon as I put them out, I went back inside to watch what would happen. It was a rainy day and I had 2 squirrels come and were so excited to have the hazelnuts. Each would go up to a hazelnut, sniff and bite onto it. They would run off as quickly as possible and bury them. I am rationing them out as a supplement to other nuts and seeds I have outside for critters. The size seems perfect for them! and the amount should last a while.

Great snacks
We have ordered these hazelnuts 5 times in the last several months. Our orders have been great, EXCEPT for this last order. This batch has very small hazelnuts and it is impossible to crack them without them breaking up in several small pieces. Might have to let the deer in our backyard enjoy these and try again.
