Review: Great product - My fiance and I make leather mugs and use beeswax to seal them. We received the wax and they are a GORGEOUS yellow/gold and the price is FANTASTIC. The wax does have a nice, soft honey scent as well. Also, this supplier offers one of the best prices on the internet for 1lb beeswax. **We will update this review when we get a chance to use the wax for the mugs, but I do not foresee the color being and issue. (this issue won't effect my rating as it is not the supplier's fault if the color is a problem, it would be my fault for buying it instead of white beeswax LOL) Review: It is SO my beeswax... - If you are into particular kinds of folk art, you know exactly why one would need such an enormous cake of beeswax. I purchased this block for last summer's batik workshop, where I shaved off pieces of it to mix with paraffin (the blend is less expensive to use in bulk; we're on a tight budget)and melt down for wax-and-dye layering. It was a generous supply which melted smoothly, spread well and the teenaged artists passed the cake of beeswax around beforehand, appreciatively inhaling the honey fragrance. There was enough left over for this spring's pysanky workshop, It is a high-quality, densely-formed block which did exactly what it was supposed to do. I would definitely purchase it again.

Wax from Our Li'l Bee Friends
Well, this is real bee's wax (no pun although it is tempting) and if you don't know how to use it you may want to find the right books on candle making or home crafted cosmetics. I buy bees wax all the time at about $1 an ounce so when I find it cheaper I try to buy it.quickly before others buy it out. I use it unscented for candle making - as it has a sacred natural origin, But be aware it does have that delightful but faint smell of honey, Triple filtered is the best and also the most expensive but I do not think it is that important for candles. So we have a touch of the bee's knees in the mix? it's poetic somehow.

Great for drinking horn
Used it to coat the inside of a bull horn for various liquid consumption. I personally like the smell, and it seems to be holding up very well after two months. Plenty of wax at the best value I could find. Only complaint is that its hard to chop up for melting, being in such a large block.

Great Product
Great bees wax. It is firm enough to work with and soft enough to be molded. I bought this to melt down and mold into circles for my Ditz holder for wax to use on my quilting thread. It keeps the thread from tangling and knotting. I had read the reviews on this bees wax and many people talked about the odor. I think I figured out why some people noticed a smell and some people didn't. I bought two of these bricks. One has no odor at all and the other has a really bad smell. So, apparently SOME of the bricks have a smell and others don't. I just happened to get one of each. I sealed each brick in ziplock bag with a dryer sheet and am waiting to see if that takes that bad smell away. It is not an overwhelming smell but it really does linger. I can't describe it because it is a smell I have never smelled before. One person said it had a chemical smell but I don't think it smells that way at all. It is just a very unique smell that is not very pleasant. Hopefully the dryer sheets or possible a fragrance added will take that smell away. It is not very strong so it shouldn't take much to get rid of it. Other than that, this product is fantastic for what I wanted to use it for. For thread wax, I added about a teaspoon of olive oil to about a third of a brick and melted it down. Then poured into my molds. Works great.

Beeswax For Candlemaking (1 lb. block)
The Beeswax For Candlemaking (1 lb. block) was purchased for waxing hot tools while glassblowing. The size was right, the price was right, and it works fine for this purpose. It smells good enough to eat, but haven't tried that - yet! ;)

Number one Beeswax for Candlemaking
Great Product. Worth the price. Definitely buy it off amazon then from your local store like Micheal's or AC more. It is usually more expensive there again. I brought almost the same product from Micheal's when it was on sale once and it did not have the same quality at all. I make a lot of candles and this is the best bee's wax I ever came across, so far. **Please let me know if my review helped you. I like it when people push the button so I know I am not just wasting my time writing reviews on here.

Quality wax
I'm a beekeeper and bought this coat some bee frames. This wax looks and smells like quality wax. Others complain about the smell but i can't tell a difference between wax from my hives and this wax. I'd buy again.
