Pyramex Yellow Cap Style 4 Point Snap Lock Suspension Hard Hat : desertcart.in: Clothing & Accessories Review: I ordered this because I kept bonking my head on the sloped ceiling and doorway in my finished attic. My prank loving little brother suggested that I should save money and wear an upside down bowl or colander on my head instead. I’m embarrassed to admit that I tried both. Unfortunately, it’s really hard to keep upside down bowls and colanders on your head, even if you manage to tie them on. This helmet is much better. It has size adjustment options and it’s surprisingly comfortable. Assembly might be interesting because the pictures on the wrapper didn’t match the inner portion of the helmet. I simply figured it out myself. And it’s not like I’m going to be subjected to a safety inspection. The design is standard and the yellow color is nice and bright. I tested it by deliberately being careless while moving around next to my attic ceiling and it protected my head just fine. Much better than the bowl or colander did. LOL Review: Bought this exclusively for home use, especially for the use in the attic and it serves my purpose. It was reasonably priced when I bought it and it is easy to assemble. Overall I like this safety cap.

This is a nice looking hat. I imagine it will fit some people. It is only slightly adjustable. It sits extremely high on the head.

For the price, this helmet (plus the safety glasses I always wear) should do the job for me working in my yard while protecting me from being stuck (or impaled) in the head or other upper body parts by long needle-thorns which some of my overhead bushes tend to grow. I can't give it a 5-star rating due to the difficult directions printed on the plastic bag (and barely readable, instead of a paper instruction sheet which would have been far easier to read). I never could find the "knob or ratchet" mentioned in the instructions. I have to assume that reference was meant for a different model helmet. But for the money, I'd say it will do what I need it to do.

I fly model airplanes. It can be quite chaotic at the flying field, especially when someone turns up with a new, never flown, airplane to fly. That's what I got the hard-hat for, as a bit of a joke. But to be honest, I'm quite impressed with the quality of this given the crazy cheap price. Of course I've not had a model airplane crash into my head while waring it but if that ever happens, I'll be glad I got this.
