Are the canisters re-fillable?

Yes they are. Pop the bottom off, take a one inch stack of tissues from a box, fold them in half length-wise put in canister with top tissue corner slightly pulled up to go through lid and voilé refillable. Great product.

Are the tissues made with recycled paper?

Good question. But I can tell you that the tissue is not too soft. In fact, it is a little bit course.

Can you possibly fill these after kleenex is gone with elastic food storage bags.

I'm not exactly sure what elastic food storage bags are, but after the tissues are gone, you are left with an empty cardboard cylinder with a bit of thin plastic with a slit at the top. I guess you can fill it with any non-perishable, non-liquid items that you want.

Good product, but a bit faffy to open.

The actual tissues ate great, but don't enjoy the fuss of having to take them out of the box, then re-positioning to allow them to be pulled out. There are instruction on the box, but not what I expected. Others I have purchased just need the top to be removed and off you go.

These tubes are far too pretty to throw away after using the tissues! They will have to be recycled into pen holders, or pretend binoculars, or...answers on a postcard please!

Pretty boxes for the car

These were a bit of a novelty as stocking fillers for Christmas. They did fit the bill but I was surprised to see they came with detailed instructions for use, refilling (✅) and clearing paper jams, no less! So now tissues come with instructions - who knew 🤷
