PERFECT!
Bought this for indoor use looking outside. I couldnโt be happier. 120ยฐ radius, it plugs into the wall so you donโt have to deal with batteries and if you lose your electricity, itโs automatically backed up to your tower. The price was right, and it was incredibly easy to set up, in fact, there was nothing to do but plug it in, go to your app, set up your Wi-Fi password and youโre good to go. Itโs sleek and hooks up perfectly to my existing Simplisafe system. The cord is plenty long too! I highly recommend this product for indoor and outdoor use through a window. I think itโs a good security measure for any home, itโs versatile because I can use it as an indoor camera as well when Iโm not at home. Right now, it just keeps an eye on my yardโฆ

Good Additions to SimpliSafe System
I purchased 2 video cameras. These are good additions to our existing SimpliSafe System and video doorbell which are already monitored. Setup was very easy just following the instructions. Video quality, night vision and field of view are quite good.

Pain to pair but works well once it does
Pain in the butt to pair, because you have to approach it with the phone you're using for the QR code at the right angle, and the phone has to be far closer than the 1 foot they state. Took us an hour last night to get one of them to pair with our system. It took less time to pair the second one tonight, but we were trying everything in our arsenal to get it to pair. Once paired, though, the camera syncs up seamlessly with the rest of our system. We got these primarily to keep an eye on a sick pet while we're out of the house, and I appreciated it so much today while we were at work. I have it set fairly sensitively, so I can peek in whenever there's movement. It can lose connection fairly easily in the back of the house, but I'm looking into getting a repeater or something to keep the connection strong in other rooms.

Great with Simplisafe system.
These Simplisafe cameras are the best! I already have the complete system. I just need to add a few more cameras. No adds! Easy to get to the video. High quality visual.

Great For Keeping An Eye on Indoor Spaces
We use these cameras to monitor the basement at a house on Cape Cod for flooding/leaks when we're not there during the winter. I also have one in the garage as we store a car there. We have 3 in our home on the West Coast, to monitor basement/garage door, back door, and inside the front door of the house in case of breakins. With full monitoring of both systems, we feel very confident in the image quality, night vision, and motion detection of these cameras. One complaint: they seem to lose their WiFi connection kind of easily if they're in a weaker part of your network signal. We installed an Eero mesh system at the Cape Cod house and now they cameras all work great.

I Don't Like Leaving Negative Reviews but...
I've looked up Simplisafe and every place I look shows them as 30,000+ people give them a 5 Star review. In my opinion, that's just not possible. I've had them for over two years and it's been simply awful! Customer support just gives you the run around. I've had to call them 5+ times since installing the system and every time I get, "it's your internet". I have upgraded to the fastest internet I can get. I've even purchased new modems and routers because I thought they must know what they are talking about. Here's an example....the doorbell rings. I open the app and click on the doorbell and it spins and spins and about 70% of the time it tells me the connection is lost. By the time I get the camera up, the person has left. Even in the house when I check the camera upstairs, I lose connection. I've uninstalled, reinstalled, removed batteries from the base station and reinstalled, etc. Nothing makes it better. I have "events" turned on and my recordings won't work and even when it does, it will say it was unable to record all the video. I usually only get about 5-10 seconds. I'm into this system about $1800 and it's "simpli-junk". I'm doing away with the whole thing and going with someone else. I feel responsible notifying others so they don't lose the money I have.
