Good item
I like this blanket. I bought two. I cannot comment on its water resistance, as I've not got it wet yet, nor its ease of cleaning, as it isn't dirty yet. However, it is 100% wool, so I expect that it will perform as expected of wool. The weight I find acceptable. There is, initially, a strong "petrochemical-ish" smell, but it will disappear within several days. Hanging it up to air out (keep the sides apart by a hand width) helps. I fold it in half (still big enough) and find it to be quite warm. I'm still working on my layering system (I think a space blanket, shiny side towards me, then any pad, then half of this blanket, then a folded sheet with me inside, then the rest of the blanket, all inside a tent, with #2 blanket on-hand, might be enough for 45 deg and up), then I'll try it outside. I recommend this blanket, and I suggest a sheet, for ease of cleaning, and to avoid any itch issues.

Very heating and cozy. Worth the money
Worth the money. Just buy it, you won't regret it. I was confused at first about which one to choose because there are so many options on the Amazon website. But I am glad that I purchase @ EKTOS 100% Wool Blanket. It is a good quality 100% Wool Blanket. I use the blanket on my bed and I just top it up with a bed sheet. It gives me a very warm and sound sleep in the cold winter. It is very well made and large. I fold it in half and used it in my bed. Upon opening the package, there was a bit of a chemically/woolly smell but it wasn’t awful. If you want to get rid of it, you can wash the blanket by itself on a delicate cycle with cold water. Then, hang it to dry in the sun or even in a room with good airflow. I haven't washed mine yet. What I did was I hung it on a sunny afternoon for 3 days straight and any smell from the wool was completely gone. So, I would definitely recommend hanging it in sun or even just in the air for a couple of days just to get rid of any industrial smell.

A real, all wool, high quality blanket.
So here's the deal... other reviewers mention a chemical smell, and they are right-- except that is the naturally occurring chemical called lanolin, which is made by the sheep. These are 100 percent wool, and so yeah that's a lot of sheep grease. I personally don't think it's too unpleasant, but everyone has different tastes. The smell does diminish over time, but we are talking months not days. I washed mine once and then hung it up to line dry on a sunny day. I would not recommend tossing it in the dryer, but you really should not need to wash it ever: wool can go for literal months without washing, especially if it doesn't touch the skin directly. The product itself is excellent quality. The edges are all double-stitched, and it's a pretty substantial weight. I originally bought it to use while cold-weather camping as an insulation layer between the sleeping pad and my bag and it worked excellently for this. It also makes sitting around a camp fire extra comfy. Leaves and dirt brush right off. In short, if you are looking for an honest to goodness 100% wool blanket that will last a lifetime if properly cared-for, this is well worth the money.

Excellent
Owning several wool and wool-blend blankets, these are among my favorites. They're warm, soft, durable, and a great size/weight. I ordered two 100% wool blankets. Both were received quickly, individually wrapped and clean. Comparing these to an army surplus wool blanket, they feel great...much softer. They're not quite as thick but they are larger and just as warm. The stitching around the edge is also tighter and much nicer. These will be at least as durable and are much more comfortable. I've laid these out in the grass to lay on, and they clean up easily. I also use one every night in bed, and have used them (x2 blankets) hammock camping in 40-ish degree temps comfortably. Compared to larger, much more expensive (4 or more times the price) 100% wool blankets I own these are honestly just as nice. They're not as fuzzy, more smooth...which makes them better for outdoor use, but not quite as warm. Two of them, however, are warmer and turned out to be less expensive. I will be buying from them again. Great Blankets!

Cozy reminder of harder times
I picked this up as an addition to my camping/bugout setup, but started using it on my bed, and enjoy it immensely. The EKTOS Military Wool Blanket is made very well, has great weight/warmth ratio, and the heat regulation/breathability with wool is second to none. I have very expensive down blankets with high tech fabrics that are great - but, there is something about a good wool blanket that smokes the others. I still have one of Uncle Sam's wool blankets from my Infantry days, but it does not have the hand feel of this EKTOS blanket. Well worth the few bucks I spent on it! I'm planning on buying another in a different pattern, to leave on my bed...so I can put this OD green one to work! ;)

Great Blanket
Bought 2 of these outfitting for a winter camping trip that didn't happen. Decided to throw one on the bed just to try it out. Wow, what a great blanket! I've tried the synthetic blankets you get at the membership box stores, but I run hot and they always make me sweat. These blankets are comfortably warm, but they breathe, so I can actually sleep under it without sweating. Started using the other one as a throw blanket on the sofas in the living room for chilly nights. They shed a little, but I've read a few washings will take care of that. They smell like wool, so if you don't like the natural smell of wool, this isn't the blanket for you. Also, not too "itchy" for a 100% wool, but some may be sensitive to the natural wool feel. Can't comment on longevity yet, as I've only had them a month, but what a great no-frills wool blanket. Went to buy a few more for my trucks, but they are out, so bought the 90% blend.

Great wool blanket!
I have a couple really good wool blankets I use on my bedding at home and for camping and other purposes. This one is not cashmere or merino wool, but it is a good, sturdy, and warm functional blanket at a great price point. I wanted something to leave in a bedroll and this blanket made the cut from a few recommendations made on amazon reviews and youtube. So after some deliberation I finally bought one. I wouldn't hesitate to do it again. With a woobie and a bed roll I took this to the desert during the winter. It got down to about 45 degrees and I was not at all cold. I could have easily taken this same setup to 32F (0C) without an issue. Definitely a great product!

Best deal for 5lbs of 100% wool woven into a blanket
I never had a 100% wool blanket. I had a couple that were 80ish% (military) and I really liked them, but this one is different. It's a bit heavier with a smoother weave. It's beautiful and warm. I originally bought this to store in my car, but it is so nice that I'm keeping it in the house. I find myself frequently using it as a lap blanket, not necessarily for the warmth, but for the weight and comfort. I read some reviews that mentioned a peculiar smell from the blanket and I want people to know that this is the natural lanolin that is in all natural wool fabrics. It's part of what a quality wool blanket is all about. Best purchase so far this year.
