These are the best connectors I’ve used. Be sure to trim the bare wire to the right length and clip them in carefully. They work great.

I've done a few different LED strip light installs for ourselves, family, and friends, and these are by far my favorite splicer/connectors. Secure, simple, small/clean, and less $ than some others that make you buy cords with jacks vs. using simple cut to exact size wire.

I used these connectors to install LED lights in a built-in shelving unit. They work as advertised, but the LED strip can easily become dislodged from the connector. This was easy to fix, but it slowed the project down. At the end of the day, the function as desired with zero failed connections. These are the first I've purchased. Based on the similar construction of other brand connectors, I would have to assume that most connectors will have this same type of issue. Since it is something that can be dealt with by just being careful with the connections, I am overall satisfied with the purchase. I don't have enough experience to say yes or no to recommending. I will update the review in the future if experience changes.

Better products out there. I bought these because of how heavily amazon promoted them. I would not waist my time. The LED side is very hard to slip in when you have the protective tape removed to expose the adhesive backing and will not stay if you dont expose the backing. I had to bend the tabs up with a screwdriver. The other difficult thing is the wire side is very difficult to shove in properly and takes some time. If you dont get it in there enough it makes poor contact. Afterward I did more research and took some digging but found a much better connector with little screws that make a great connection and are not as difficult to use. Dont waste your time on these. You will just get frustrated.

I fought with these for a while ave eventually left a rather scathing review. I’ve come back to edit it though as they did eventually work out ok. Don’t get me wrong these are not as easy as the videos and descriptions would lead you to believe but if you fuss with them enough you’ll get there. Definitely use a heavier wire. I used 20g based on reviews and feedback but I’d probably go a little larger if you can find it. Perhaps 18g.

I ended up soldering the connection as the the part that clamps on the COB light end was not making good connections.
