I love this gel! This was the first time I did a twist out with no cream at all, and my hair was moist, defined, and shiny. A little bit goes a long way, and it works wonders on my natural curls. I have already used the whole jar. I'm able to use this on wet hair, two strand twist my hair as a style for one week, and then I untwist and wear them out the second week. My hair is soft even though it has a lot of definition. At night, I only put a scarf and bonnet on my hair and it gives me 2 weeks of very low manipulation for my hair. The downside is the same as anything with aloe...it will flake after a while and doesn't play well with other products. This is a little more costly than I would prefer to spend on a regular basis. The only thing I can use with this gel is a little oil. I would still recommend for those with healthy curls!

OMG!! This is the best product ever. My hair stayed hydrated and shiny. It is soft and makes my curls pop. And the smell, I love the scent, and your hair smells great all day!

I like that this product is not strong smelling. It's easy to apply to hair and gives good definition. The price is a little high.

I decided to take a chance on the gel. When I first used it, I wet my hair down then applied the gel. One of the reviews I read said it made the hair hard which it did. I decided to apply gel to hair as I braided my hair down., then I sat under the blow dryer for about 45 minutes. The next day, when I took my hair down, it was soft. So apparently it works the way I used it with no problem. And I got good results.

Smells good, does make hair curl. Also makes hair a little sticky and firm, not rock hard. I would not buy again.

It always met my expectations especially since I have always used it with my hairdresser before ordering it via Amazon.

Product is a little sticky. Doesn't provide much moisture but does give your hair a definitive curl pattern with little shine but no softness. I feel that the price was a lil too high. Maybe it's made for a particular hair type and not mine.
