Well written, easy to understand the questions

I have mixed thoughts. I had expected the book to be more of a teaching aid to help reinforce the hows and whys of science. But instead I would say it’s more of a revision book, used to check your existing knowledge in generally test format. I find the title ‘how to be good at science’ a little misleading for that reason. Having said that, the book is beautifully made, brightly coloured, fun to fill in and I don’t regret the purchase. Even though I’m finding myself googling a lot to help my daughter learn why the answers ARE the answers!

Really like the bright colours and illustrations in the book. Good variety of subjects. Only issue have is doesn't go into detail or have brief explanations before some questions. It's fine if using alongside other book maybe, if home education need to use other resource before give child book who answer question as not all information given before

This is a very well written, colourful and comprehensive book which deals with all the main aspects of the subjects in ways which are interesting, very well-illustrated and serious, with being tedious. The questions really test the readers and encourage a scientific way of thinking. Recommended.
