This is brilliant for the price. A couple of tips when dying • Wash garment then soak on soda ash for 20 mins then put in washing machine on a high speed setting but not on a rinse and spin or you'll wash out the soda ash. Soda ash locks in the colours. Don't put dye onto the garment when it's dry. Before you start watch a few youtube videos, on tie dye this is more help than the instructions.

My child wanted a tie dye session instead of a birthday party, as obvs we couldn't have kids around. With admittedly great reluctance I bought this kit, I couldn't tell the difference between the ones on offer and just presumed they were all awful. I was quite wrong, this set was awesome and we had so much fun with it, it even made an old curmudgeon smile (me). There's loads of dye, the kids turned everything in sight filthy hippy and there's still enough left to redo everything twice. None of us had done it before, the instructions weren't a great deal of help, mainly because we didn't realise they opened up to offer helpful options for turning everything into a psychedelic flower. It's not overly messy tbh, but you do need a bunch of bags to put it all in for 24hrs to allow the dye to really take. Also we discovered that some of the colours require much less water than suggested to get a good tone. It is worth noting that after 72hrs, the instructions claim the dye will be useless so it's a good idea to use a limited palette and get everyone using the same hippy juice. We really got our money's worth, a good buy. And no. I won't be wearing anything I made, despite being loads of fun tie dye still hurts my soul.

Better than expected. Made for a really fun day of tie dying Tshirts, socks, tea towels- anything white cotton! Make sure you wear the gloves!

I only reduced by one star as so far we found one cracked bottle which made rather a mess as we hadn’t spotted this until after filling it with water. Easy to use, we dyed 100%cotton fabric and a cloth bag. Did this with an 8 year old and an 11 year old. We all had great fun. Look forward to turning the fabric into shorts.

This is great my son loves it I have had to buy more and will be buying a nother one rather soon colours are great but maybe advisable to let colours soak overnight and then reapply a second coat of the same colours and let soak again so the colours don't fade so much but other than that they are amazing and a great value for money

Fun for Children, Value for money and so easy to use. The box it comes in is perfect to hold all Dye Bottles and other items for future play. Good selection of colours too.
