Quality Park Tyvek Open End 9 x 12 Inch White Envelopes 100 Count (R1460)

Bought these envelopes for multiple uses. I sew, and used them to store sewing pattern envelopes. I also took cardboard pieces slightly taller and wider than the sewing pattern envelopes, and then covered them with the Tyvek envelopes to make index dividers. This helps keep any acids or moisture from passing through from one pattern to the next, and keep it acid-free and archive safe, longer than if used with other products.

Because sometimes you need an envelope than can be dropped in the rain, mauled by the postal machines, snagged by unforeseen sharp edges, tackled by rabid raccoons and still keep your documents safe.Love the self-adhesive closing edge, even if I also use packing tape.

Wish I'd ordered one size up because they're not as roomy as I'd like. But that's my bad. And I don't really know how well they seal because I always tape them for security. Other than that they don't appear to be inferior to the well known brand, and a $ saver.

I don't actually use this item for what its purposed for, but used it to reinforce binding on a scrapbooking project making mini photo albums, and thankful for this product. I live in New Zealand where the only things closest to tyvek in our country are wrist bands which wont serve my purpose, we don't have this product in our country and a lot of our scrapbooking associates don't have it either, hence why I had to buy from overseas.great product though, its lightweight, served its purpose for me.

Wish I had gotten some larger ones too. Cheaper costs for pkg. mailing. Post office doesn't always have these much anymore.A box full is a great buy. (9 x 12) was a great size, now what I need are the largest ones they have.pkg. are so expensive to send anymore that the Tyvek envelopes are wonderful. They stay shut and won't rip apart & once sealed they onlycan be opened by scissors they are that strong, superman style is what they are. :) The best thing since bubblegum :)
