Really like this cream! Love how it moisturizes and leaves no greasy feeling. Wish they would make an unscented version.

I have a skin condition on my fingers that no dermatologist (so far) has been able to confidently diagnose, and the result is when I'm actively using my hands for manual tasks, the skin will form small splits, more painful than papercuts and harder to heal. Now I keep it around just for that.Here's my ignorant guess about what's different here (I have no medical education or special wisdom): We're used to many, many lotions and creams that are all about their anti-inflammatory qualities; I sometimes get the feeling that this cream uses a mild inflammatory agent, in a controlled and purposeful way.One of the worst things about my finger cuts is that they hurt when the skin moves. I can bandage them in such a tight way that they hurt less, but I always feel like the progress of any actual healing is slowed down when the blood flow is reduced and no oxygen can get to the skin surface.With this cream, it feels like the very edges of the wounds are made to swell, just the tiniest bit, which gently closes the cuts and makes them much less susceptible to movement—and therefore less susceptible to pain.So I bandage my fingers when I have work to do, but when typing on a keyboard is the most vigorous work my fingers are doing, I use this cream and let my fingers get some air and sunlight. And it's the first time I've had progress in getting these tiny recurring nightmares to heal.
